At Kate's House

''Welcome to you new house, Emma!'' Kate said.

''Thank you, Kate!'' Emma said.

''You're welcome. You can choose any room that you like, the living room is over there, and the kitchen is over here.'' Kate said.

''Okay.'' Emma said.

Emma went upstairs to check out the rooms and choose which one she liked best. She found a room that she loved, it was lavender, light pink, and white, her favorite colors.

''Wow! A bunk bed, flat screen tv, and a built in trampoline! Even a walk in closet AND a gaming system! Oh! This room is huge! There's a reading nook, too! And a desk! And a swing! There's even a slide that I can slide down from the top bunk! What does this door go to? A bathroom... with a full length mirror!! YES!!! I DON'T HAVE TO SHARE A BATHROOM WITH ANYONE!!!'' Emma said excitedly.

''You sure are excited about this.'' Kate said.

''I am. The girls always hog the bathroom. They were fixing their hair and makeup all the time. I got to use the facilty bathroom since they take too long and I had to get to school.'' Emma said.

''Okay, I understand why Ms. Austin let you use the facilty bathroom.'' Kate said.

''Boys are monsters.'' Emma said.

''I know. Why were you the last girl left?'' Kate asked.

''The adults already had kids my age. I know that because the kids came in with the adults.'' Emma said.

''Okay.'' Emma said.

''This room is awesome!!'' Emma said.

''I knew you would like it.'' Kate said.

Emma started swinging on the swing. Kate was on the trampoline.

''This is like an indoor playground.'' Emma said.

''Do you like it?'' Kate asked.

''I love it.'' Emma replied walking over to the curtains on the windows. ''What are the curtains on the windows made of?''

''Purple velvet.'' Kate said.

''OOH!!! It's so soft.'' Emma said touching it.

''I knew you would love it.'' Kate said.
