This story is a sequel to Ours (Justin and Ariana♡)

Justin inspected the dirty-blonde haired boy who was sitting the the living room, just stroking his guitar. Julian had quieted down his guitar when Justin entered the room, like the most polite child.

His son, Julian. The most wonderful kid he's ever met. Justin was determined to give him the best Christmas he's ever had.

Justin bought toys on top of toys that were underneath the ceiling-touching, brightly decorated tree right now. Julian was on the ground, his notebook beside him and crayons sprawled as he was writing.

But Justin couldn't shake that feeling that he was missing something. Julian's eyes lit up when he saw the bounds and bounds of presents and stuffed stockings, but he had this missing glimmer. The glimmer that Justin most wanted Julian to feel.

He felt a kiss on his neck and he turned around to see Ariana. His beautiful lover this merry Christmas Eve.

She had her hair down, curled at the ends and was wearing a cute red and green dress, which was a little like an elf costume.

"Let's hope Santa doesn't carry you away for being too adorable," Justin whispered in her ear, feeling her soft skin as his ear brushed her cheek.

Ariana giggled, pulling at his ear, "And let's hope Santa doesn't carry you away for being naughty."

Justin gasped and laughed, "So you want to play that card, huh, you little devil?"

Julian was playing a few chords now and humming. He was in a blue shirt and a button up, casually. The large guitar was situated on the ground and the little boy was crouched over it.

Justin glanced at his son then back at Ariana and smiled, "Hey, honey, do you know what Julian wants for Christmas?" He stroked Ariana's back.

She frowned, "I'm worried about that too. He hasn't said anything. I mean, I know we bought a lot of toys for him and he seems happy, but I... I don't know."

Justin shook his head, a bit concerned. Then he lit up, "Ari! Didn't he write a letter to Santa?"

Ariana nodded, "Oh yea! He told me! He left it in his room because he said Santa was watching him anyways, so he'd be able to see what he was writing" She giggled.

Julian stretched his neck out to look over at them. He had a bit of a confused look on his face.

Ariana just smiled and waved at him, "Keep playing, baby. That sounds beautiful!"

Julian frowned at them suspiciously for a second, but went back to his instrument, continuing to play, very focused.

Justin sighed in relief. He grinned, "Let's go look at that note."

Ariana smiled and too and Justin clenched his bigger hand to her small one. He wrapped his fingers around her slender ones.

Justin knew this Christmas would just be the best.

"Mm," Ariana mumbled as he kissed her.

Julian's room was neat, orderly, everything you'd want your son's room to look like. The toys were put away in their correct bins and his clothes were all in their drawers, packed very nicely. But right now this was not what Ariana wanted.

"Why can't Julian just be a slob like you Justin?" Ariana laughed, "Like leave a few papers out maybe?"

Justin grinned and put his hands on her waist, "Hey! I prefer to be called cleanliness challenged."

Ariana smiled, "Okay then, Mr. Unclean. Where do you suggest we start first? maybe under the bed? You'd sweep some of your papers under there, right?"

Justin laughed, "I'd keep it," he started rubbing her back again, caressing the small of it, "right in your dress. I guess you'll have to take it off so I can look at you."

Ariana laughed and swat Justin's hand away. She grinned, "Justin- seriously!"

He turned around and surveyed to room. He frowned. Where would it be?

It would have to be somewhere precious. Something that was given to him...

Ariana lit up, "It's in the guitar case!" She laughed and unzipped it and of course, inside was a folded paper.

Justin smiled, excited to see what it said as Ariana picked it up and unfolded it.

Ariana's face suddenly fell. She looked perplexed. She seemed so hopeless that Justin's heart automatically leaped.

Justin frowned, "What's wrong?"

Ariana sighed and flipped it over to show Justin. He became down-ridden too.

All the paper said in black marker was "Dear Santa".

~

He put down the black crayon as he write down the last few words on the notebook. Julian smiled and picked up the white crayon in his fingers and twirled it.

Julian thought, Mommy and Daddy must be looking really hard! Haha, they probably look so funny! Tricking people is bad, but if it's for their own sake- it's kind of okay.

All he could wish for now was that Santa could make what he hoped for come true.
