"Dad, c'mon! We're going to be late!" Shaun said, hopping up and down in excitement and nerves.

"Shaun, we've never been late before, and we're not going to start now." I replied, grabbing my wand and following him downstairs.

It was finally September 1st, and I'd been in contact with Minerva regarding Hogwarts, and my being a student once more. As I was Immortal, and could pass for whatever age I wished, I was going to be 'starting' in my 5th year, and retaking my 6th and 7th years, since I'd never taken them in the first place. Minerva had recently stepped down as Headmistress, to be succeeded by Anton Deramir, a very nice man, who, after being told everything by Minerva, was only too happy to allow me into Hogwarts as a student.

We got to the station, where I revealed I'd hidden my trunk in the car before the kids had put theirs in.

"Dad? Why's your trunk in the car?" Jase asked.

"Oh, didn't I tell you? I'm at Hogwarts this year, too. I'm in the 5th year in Gryffindor. I never got to do any of the years before when I was there, so I'm retaking them now."

"Why now?" Jase demanded, while Shaun groaned quietly. "It's going to be so embarassing for us to have our dad there!"

"Why couldn't you have gone earlier, dad?" Elizabeth asked, putting her owl's cage on top of her tunk as she spoke.

"Well, back then, I was too busy taking care of you lot and your mother to go back to school. Now I have free time on my hands."

"What about mum?" Jase wanted to know.

"Oh, didn't I tell you?" Luna said. "I'm going to do some research for the Quibbler."

Luna had become quite the naturist, and was very famous in the wizarding world for her fantastic articles and photographs she took of new species.

Grumbling, the kids walked off through the barrier into Platform Nine and Three Quarters.

Luna and I followed, chatting, stopping by the Hogwarts Express. I'd never been on it before, and was quite looking forward to the experience.

Kissing Luna, I got onto the train with the kids, who had already hugged their mother. We got into a compartment and waved out of the window to her, along with Harry, Ginny, Hermione and Ron, who were also there to see their children off. Albus and Shaun were waving the hardest of all, and, ocne we'd got out of sight, both slumped down into their seats.

"I still can't believe you're coming with us, dad." Shaun sighed.

"Well, I'm here now." I said.

"Anything off the trolley, dears?"

I looked up to see a plump woman pushing a cart full of confectionary. It all looked delicious.

"We'll take some of everything, thanks." I said, pulling out my pouch. All the kids watched as I pretty much cleared the trolley, then shared everything out between us all.

"Wow, thanks Dean!" James said, biting into a Pumpkin Pasty.

"I wish Lily was old enough to come to Hogwarts." Elizabeth sighed. "She's always telling us how she wants to come."

"She'll be able to come next year." I said reassuringly.

Just then, Teddy Lupin popped his head in.

"Hi guys!"

"Hi!" everyone chorused.

"Mind if I sit in here? Everywhere else is full."

I looked round. Because Harry and Ginny's and Hermione and Ron's kids all liked to sit in one compartment, their compartment had been magically made bigger for them all to fit in, but even so, it was a little tight in here.
