I looked out the window the next day hoping to see the familiar cars of the harpers or one of their three cats; Muffin, Tacos and Smudge. A single tear slid onto my pillow. "Stop that Isabella!" I scolded myself. I needed fresh air, I decided.
I slipped a pair of slippers on and slowly stepped outside. The sun felt good. I figured I would make myself useful and grab the mail while I was outside. I slowly opened the black metal rectangular prism and shuffled through the mail. "Bills, taxes, taxes, credit card, Lilian Harper, bi-..." I muttered to myself then paused. I tore open the letter from lily finding nothing more than a sticky note, on it read:
MY 13 WISHES FOR YOU TO COMPLETE
FOR MY FRIEND BELLA
1. Ask a stranger for his number
2. Curl your hair then send me a photo
3. Try sushi
4.Donate to a charity
5. Get into a fist-fight
6. Learn how to say ' you are my bestie' in Spanish
7. Hide your mothers phone
8. Adopt a cat
9. Post a video on YouTube
10. Die your hair purple
11. Repaint your room without permission
12. Ask Thomas out
13.Make a mess of your room
I stared at the note blankly, SHE WANTS ME TO DO WHAT NOW?
