#chapter -4

Chris P.O.V

After I somehow managed to get a hold ,I dragged myself to the restroom and sink because I felt like puking out everything inside of my digestive system since it was choking me.When I held the sides of the sink,I found myself letting  everything out.In the process I was coughing up some blood too as the spiked drink had caused my throat to burn and get infected.But suddenly I felt a hand on my back,patting me tenderly and gently.I couldn't look upto the person.My face was half way into the sink.But I noticed by glancing below sideways,the hem of the same beautiful blue gown.It needed no common sense to know of whom it was.I had some mixed feelings.I felt happy that the girl I had admired some moments back was there for me here but also this warm feeling inside that I had never felt before. May be it was because she was beautiful or may be I don't know what.
"You are not okay,just wait here and I'l get some water for you",said the girl.Her voice so soothing to my ears.I could listen to her all day."Oh God!What am I thinking?",I thought to myself.Soon the girl came to me with a packaged drinking water bottle and handed over to me.I took it from her hands still not looking directly at her face,rather just at her hands.I gulped down the water quickly but before even I finished the water and looked up the girl face,I saw her leave towards the girl's restroom.I thought I'l go and thank her for her kind gesture but I couldn't go inside girl's restroom.So I waited for her outside but from nowhere came Alex with some water and medicine to avoid acidity.I declined it and let him know about what had happened.He dragged me out of the restroom area towards the lounge.
"I'l thank the girl later",I thought and we made our way to the lounge sitting area.
Alex told me about how mor*n Max was slapped by one of the girls present in the party due to his dirty mor*nic ways.We had a hearty laugh over it.Time passed,we had drinks and enjoyed ourselves.It was late in the night now,and Alex was drunk.So I decided to drive him home and then be back at my place.While I was driving, a face flashed across my mind.It wasn't any face,it was the humble girl's beautiful angelic face.I suddenly remember that I hadn't thanked her.Shit..!Now I was being a hopeless ungrateful human."What will she think about me?","How will I thank her?","What if....",these many thoughts ran through my mind."Yes,tomorrow morning the first thing I'l do is find a great way and thank
her",I decided firmly.I reached home after dropping Alex at his place and changed into sweatshirt and pants.I freshened up and lied down on my cozy kingsize bed but the girl's face still haunted my mind while I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to my alarm and my reminder of thanking the girl.It was one o'clock in the afternoon,meaning I slept through the morning as it was a sunday.My stomach grumbled in hunger.I did my morning...oops!...now afternoon routine of having a bath and freshening up.Then I made myself a healthy 'brunch' as I had skipped breakfast and now it was time for lunch.So I ate scrambled eggs and some tomato soup with a bowl of  sweet yoghurt .After finished eating,it was around three in the afternoon,I called up the flower bouquet store for a bouquet."It's Flora's,how can I help you?",asked the receptionist on the phone."Um...I would like to have a bouquet of flowers delivered to a certain address",I answered from the other end of the call.Last night while I was driving Alex at his place,I had asked him about the girl's whereabouts.It was after I had remembered the girl's face while driving.Alex knew about the entire incidents of  the night,from me gawking at her entry to her helping me.So Alex let me know that the girl was none other than the first year business student and our university topper of the year .She was Camilla Evans.She stayed few blocks far from my penthouse.Not very far though.I was myself a business last year student,meaning her 'senior',I thought smirking.
"Sir,sir...are you there..?",I was broken from my trance by the voice of the receptionist."Uh...yeah.Make it two flowers of each kind and attatch a note to it by the name Chris Lawrence"I told her.She had taken  down my order along with the address that I mentioned.My work was done.Now let's wait and watch for Camilla's reaction."It's gotcha be fun",I thought.
