It was the day of Ethan's championship lacrosse game, and he had asked you to represent yourself as his girlfriend. You were ecstatic when he asked you this. The whole school already knew about you and Ethan, but this just showed how strong your relationship really was.

You saw him making his way over to your locker with his spare jersey in hand. You recognized it as his practice one because the colors were reversed on it. "Hey, baby," he greeted you and kissed your cheek. "This is for you to wear tonight." You smiled taking it out of his hand and holding it up against you. It came about mid thigh, but you couldn't wait to be able to officially wear the white jersey. Seeing the bold blue letters spelling 'DOLAN' across the top and his number in the middle of it added to your anticipation for the game tonight.

"I can't wait to wear it," you smiled at him and returned a kiss on the cheek. Ethan then walked you to your first class, and the school day went on as usual. The whole school was buzzing ready to beat its biggest rivals tonight.

After school you went home on the bus with your friend discussing what she would be wearing to the game tonight. The bus pulled up to your spot, and you ran inside going through everything you'd need to do to be ready for tonight's game.

After the usual showering, hair drying, and light make up routine, you slipped on the jersey over your underwear and decided on what to wear with it. Eventually deciding to play it down with light wash skinny jeans and white vans. You wanted to eat early before the game, so you ate the pasta your mom prepared when you felt your phone buzz and saw that it was a text from Ethan.

"Can't wait to see you looking cute in my jersey tonight, (Y/N)"

Even though Ethan wasn't actually with you, he was still able to make a deep red blush take over your cheeks.

"Can't wait to see you win the game tonight, boo," you replied before calling your mom from upstairs to drive you.

Small chat was made during the drive until you got there and saw Ethan waiting by the gate for you. After saying bye to your mom, you got out the car and ran into Ethan's arms. They tightly wrapped around you as he picked you up and spun you around before setting you back down. He kissed you while whispering, "my good luck charm." Your face gleamed as a smile erupted onto your face.

"You don't need luck. You'll win this easily, baby," you reassured him before grabbing his hand and pulling him onto the turf field.

Ethan walked you over to where all your friends were sitting in the bleachers, and you gave him one last kiss before saying, "Good luck, baby." He looked deeply into your eyes and said, "I'm gonna win this for you." Then he went to join the rest of his team on the sideline.

The game started, and everyone was cheering but nowhere as loud as you. You stood on the seats for a better view of the field and screamed his name. Ethan was playing so well and keeping his team in control as he was the team captain. Whenever he had a spare second or a time out, he made sure to spot you out of the crowd and give you a huge grin paired with a wink causing you to giggle every time.

The game was coming to its last few seconds, and Ethan had to ball. He just needed to shoot the ball into the goal right in front of him, and the whole crowd would be chanting his name. All eyes were on him as he ran to right and shot towards the left faking out the goalie. His plan for the goal had worked, and he won the championship game.

The buzzer went off, and the whole crowd went wild. His teammates picked Ethan up, and you just watched from the seats letting him enjoy his glory. His smile was almost as big as it was when you had agreed to date him; you just knew he would be buzzing from this win for weeks.

As Ethan's teammates started to lower him, you ran onto the field and jumped onto his back shouting his name. Ethan instantly recognized your voice and wrapped his arms around your legs to keep you from falling. "(Y/N), I DID IT," he cheered turning his neck to try and see you. "I know I saw you. Well done, Eth," you giggled while repeatedly pecking his cheeks.

After you had a quick congratulation make out at the side of the bleachers by the locker room door. One of Ethan's team members came over to the two of you and said, "Dolan, I know you'll hate me for interrupting, but we have our winning team dinner and coach said (Y/N) needs to come. He wants to personally thank your good luck charm that helped win the game." You smiled while looking up at Ethan and back over to his teammate. "Ok, we'll be over there in a second," Ethan responded. His teammate walked away, and Ethan gave you one last long kiss before grabbing your hand and walking you over to the rest of the team, so they could thank you for the big win.
