Elizabeth's Pov Yesterday was such a nice day. I still can't believe I kissed Joel. It's like everything seemed so magical and romantic.
I get up from bed, go to the bathroom, and do what it is I have to do.
I go back to my room and I pick out an outfit for the day.

I put on makeup, curled my hair, and put on my white converse.
I make my way downstairs and I see a really beautiful bouquet of roses.
"Who are these for?" I ask my mom
"They're for you," She says smirking
I head over to them and see that there's a card.

Hope you loved the roses! I'll pick you up to go to dinner at 5, don't worry about how you dress I'm sure you'll look gorgeous as always.
I smile and I go sit down to eat.
"So your dad and I were talking and we were wondering why you don't give Joel a chance? Es guapo, educado, y es muy cariñoso. Que mas quieres en un chico. Si por mí fuera yo andaría con el." My mom says
"Mom! I know he's all that, but I don't think I can like him yet I mean I barely know him. Plus he hasn't even asked me out yet." I say
"Which reminds me I'm going to dinner with him later." I add on
"Okay."
I finish eating. I head upstairs grab my phone and some money and I head off to go to my grandmas house.
On my way there I stop to greet some relatives or close friends.
Right before I get to my grandmas house I go to the house across the street. My friend Alex lives there.
Truth is I once liked Alex and he liked me too and he did ask me out but I said no..
He has a girlfriend now and it seems like they get along well.
I say hi and then I cross the street to my grandmas.
"Ya llegue." I say
I greet my aunt that was there. My grandma isn't in Mexico right now, she's in Tampa with my aunt Mary.
I spend the next couple hours until it's 3:30. That way I have time to shower, pick out an outfit, do my hair and makeup.
I take a taxi to my house. I go in and realize no one is home. I take my undergarments and go to the bathroom to take a shower.
After I'm done I head to my room and put on a tank top and some shorts on.
I blow dry my hair, curl it, and do my makeup.
I then pick out my outfit.

By the time I was done it was 4:55. I have 5 mins to go on my phone.
I heard the door knock, I grabbed my black Michael Kors purse and put in my charger, phone, and some money.
I ran downstairs to see a nicely dressed Joel.
"You look beautiful Liz." He says
"Thanks Joel. You don't look bad yourself" I say
We get into the jeep and head off to a restaurant.
When we got there realized it was a typical Mexican restaurant. It even had mariachi.
We sat down and ordered. After we ate we started talking more about ourselves.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom be right back." Joel says
It's been five mins and he's still not here.
Sooner or later I see the mariachi coming up to me. Since there's eight. Four go to one side and the other four to the other side, revealing Joel.
He starts to sing Te Metiste by Ariel Camacho. Except they play it in a mariachi type of way.
After they're done. Joel gets on his knees and a waitress gives him a bouquets of roses.
"Liz I love you so much. You don't know how thankful I am to have met such a beautiful girl like you. Quieres ser mi novia?" He says smiling
"Si Joel. I'd love to be your girlfriend!" I say
Everyone in the restaurant starts clapping.
