A resting town sat on the edge of the ocean looking out over the dark midnight waters. The old wooden docks shook at the bellow of each wind and the lit torches would go out for a split second in the whizzing ocean winds. The breeze blew through the resting wolves' soft white fur. The town seemed quiet for a night in Wolvesburg. Suddenly, the wolves rose at the sight of Pineapple. He looked at the wolves and raised a finger to his lips to silence their barks and growls. Pineapple strolled to the fenced in Wolves and scanned the pen. In the corner sat a blue collared wolf. Pineapple went and grabbed him out of the pen. He clipped a name tag reading 'Lincoln' to the dog's collar and then he attached a rope to the collar. He walked the wolf to the dock behind Jack's house and tied it to the pole by the boat. Pineapple then ran over to his house and grabbed a bag he had set on his porch. He grabbed his journal and put it into his pack. He left his armor on the stand in his house. He took an old iron sword with him as well. He sighed and walked over to the boat. Pineapple untied the dog and brought him on board. The ship was small but sturdy enough to support him for a while. Pineapple took out his journal and tore out a page with a message on it. He squinted at the sloppy writing in the dark. Pineapple put the dog in the back of the boat and brought the note to the front of Jack's house. He slid it under Jack's door and walked off to the boat.
Pineapple wasted no time after sliding the note under the door. He lifted the anchor and the compact ship was off. Pineapple breathed a sigh of relief and let the boat be drifted off by the wind and the direction of the water. He lied down on the deck and looked up at the calming night sky. The moon lit up the night enough so he didn't need a torch. He turned to see the town behind him. The sturdy walls gave him reassurance that the town would be there at his return. He then closed his eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.
The morning was bright and Pineapple squinted at the sun. He got up and walked to the back of the ship and saw that Lincoln had grabbed a raw steak out of one of the chests on board. Pineapple smiled and petted the dog. He grabbed a bucket of water that was stored in a chest and let the dog drink out of it after he washed his face. Pineapple grabbed an apple and walked out to the deck. He scanned the surrounding ocean and he saw nothing he had recognized. He slowly came to the realization that he had fallen asleep without mapping his path and he had forgotten to set the ship to go a certain way. He wiped the water off of his face and screamed in anger. The dog jumped but then continued to drink the water. Pineapple took a hard bite out of the apple and sat down to look at his compass. He was going west which was the way he was supposed to be going. He laughed and had a sigh of relief. Pineapple grabbed his journal and began to write: It's a hot Sunday morning out on the ship and we've been traveling for about eight hours and the trip has barely begun. Pineapple couldn't think and decided to put the old journal away. Instead he pulled out a rusty old fishing pole that Eli had built for him. Engraved on the pole were the words 'We Are Alive.' Pineapple sat there reading the words over and over again.
He hooked a small fish to the end of the pole and cast the pole into the ocean. He waited fora bite as the wind blew through his hair. Pineapple waited for about ten minutes on the still ship when he got a bite. He was quite excited and hoisted the large fish on board. "Lunch" he exclaimed. All of the sudden, he heard a loud booming noise come from the north. He looked around with the fish in hand when he has noticed another ship in the distance. Pineapple squinted and saw a man shooting arrows at something. From behind the ship came a large ship fit with strong cannons and a sturdy exterior. Pineapple grabbed a hold of the wheel and tried to wheel the ship away from the distant fight when out of the corner of his eye, the small ship had exploded and the man on board was launched into the water abyss known as the sea. Pineapple quickly grabbed the wheel and steered the ship away from the attackers. At this point, they had to see his boat. Lincoln ran out to the deck to see what was going on and he started barking at the other ship. Pineapple turned his head in fear and could tell that the ship was coming for him now. He grabbed the dog and rushed below deck and prepared for a fight even though he knew that he would lose. He kept the dog close and he realized he had left his sword up on the deck. Pineapple breathed heavily and looked at Lincoln then rushed upstairs to retrieve the sword. He ran up and a large shadow was cast over his ship because the ship was now behind his own. He went for the sword. "HI, FRIEND! WHY DON'T YOU PUT DOWN THE SWORD AND WE CAN TALK?" He was a large man and two people were at his sides aiming bows at Pineapple. "Okay, only if you call off the archers, friend." The man waved off the archers and dropped a rope ladder after driving the ship to the right of Pineapple's.
