Sadie POV
I woke up feeling dizzy as hell. My eyes felt heavy and I could barely feel my arms and legs. The last thing I remembered was walking into my room, and then nothing. Judging by the throbbing pain in the back of my head, I was knocked out.
I tried to open my eyes, but every time I did I was met by blinding white light that burnt my eyes. I rolled my head to the side and let out a loud groan. Everything, that I could feel, hurt like hell.
"Are you awake?" A sweet, female voice asked from somewhere. "C'mon girl, open up your eyes."
"I can't," I whined out. For the moment I felt safe. I could only hope that I was back at the pack house being fixed up from whatever had happened.
"Try," the voice commanded, losing a little of its sweetness.
I complied and opened my eyes again, cringing at the brightness. I blinked my eyes repeatedly, keeping them open as long as possible. Eventually, after many tries, I was able to keep them open. At first everything was blurry and all I could see was white; white ceiling, white walls, white everything. I turned my head to where I thought the voice was coming from and saw a lady with dark red hair. She looked to be about the same age as my mother, only slightly more wrinkled. She had dark brown eyes, and freckles covered her cheeks. Her plump lips were situated in a simple smile.
"Who are you?" I asked, extremely confused. I had never seen a room like this before nor had I ever seen this lady before.
"Well, good morning sister." I froze immediately knowing who that voice belonged to. "I would like to introduce you to my mother, Caroline."
I kept my eyes trained on Caroline, finally noticing the things about her that were the same as her son's. She had the same high cheek bones, the same lips, and the same creepy smile. Everything I saw about her that I thought was sweet before, took on an evil edge.
"Where am I?" I sighed out. I knew right then at that moment that I was with the hunters, that Alan was the one who took me, and that I was in deep shit. Even knowing all that I was more irritated than scared. They wouldn't leave me alone, ever, and I should have known that me just turning them down wouldn't have been the end of it. I was stupid though, I figured I had a few days before they acted again, but no I apparently only had a few minutes.
"Can't tell you that, sis," Alan laughed.
"Stop calling me that," I growled out, "we have the same father, I get it, but we are not family. You're Alan and I'm Sadie, we are not brother and sister."
"I don't think you're really in any condition to be telling us what to do," Caroline said sternly. "You're strapped to a table honey."
It was like her words were all I needed to get feeling back into my limbs. Suddenly I felt everything. I felt tight straps on each ankle, I felt my arms stretched out and bound also. They began to ache, I could feel each strap rubbing against my skin, causing them to burn and feel raw. "What the hell?" I yelled out, bucking my body around. I wasn't irritated anymore, I was terrified. I couldn't handle being tied down.
"Well Sadie, you see our grandfather has a theory." Alan began, sounding very amused. "He seems to think that your blood has something magical to it, ya know since hunters and wolves shouldn't be able to procreate, but your mother did."
"There is nothing special about my blood Alan. It's just blood!" I yelled panicked.
"Yeah, that's what I think, but good old Grandpa thinks otherwise, and since he is in charge that means what I think doesn't matter."
