Currently you were a witness, the only witness, of a private run-in Hailey was having with an older man. "We both know exactly what your biggest fear is." The man sneers. "A fear of being forever abandoned and alone but another great fear of yours is losing the ones who you care about. But you're also afraid of depending on the ones you care about. Isn't that quite a problem~?" You wondered who this man was and what connection Hailey had with him, if there was a connection.
You were about to defend Hailey but she motioned for you to stay back. "But what do you care more for? Your loneliness or your friend's safety?" Hailey's eyes widened a bit in shock from the sudden question. "Do I have to state such an obvious answer?" Hailey asked, her expression going blank. She walked towards the man, her hands in her jacket pockets. She stood by his side as if it was where she belonged. From the question you remembered something that happened a week ago.
~FLAAAAAAASSSHHBAAAAAAAACK~
You were at home waiting for Hailey to come back from whatever she was doing. She said she had some 'errands' to run. When you asked her what errands she was going on, she said it was just some 'business' she had to take care of and you two left it at that. Hailey walked into the house and slammed the door behind her. She looked really pissed off.
She went up into her room slamming the door. You knew not to bother her when she was angry, so you let her be. Meanwhile Hailey had locked her door, just in case you decided to check on her. She grabbed a bat she had bought for herself and smashed it on the floor, breaking it in half. She threw it to the side and grabbed more of her stuff smashing and breaking them. After a few minutes she calmed down and stopped breaking her items.
Hailey walked back downstairs and went into the kitchen to get a drink. Curiosity got the best of you and you went up to Hailey's room. You opened the door and saw quite a few of her items broken and scattered about. Something you noticed though was that she left all the items, you have given to her, let her have, and anything that included you, alone.
