Hailey has always had this container of something she called 'medicine'. Naturally she'd only take it once every or every other month on average. The least amounts of times she would take her 'medicine' was 3 times a year. Nowadays she was taking it every two days, sometimes even every other day or every day. The thing is whenever she took the 'medicine' she would cough up blood.
After Hailey took her medicine for the day, you decided to look at it. On the back was a warning label and a classic danger skull. "Take only two to three pills in one day. Recommended to drink something withthe pills. Side effects: May cause coughing up blood, extreme pain, blurry vision, etc." That's all the label said. You recall take whenever you saw Hailey take the pills she would cover her mouth with her hand after taking them.
Afterwards she would wipe her hand off with a cloth. Hailey would look like she was wincing slightly but you assumed it was because the pills had an aftertaste. Currently Hailey was looking around in the kitchen cabinets for something. You knew exactly what she was looking for. "Where are they? Where are they!?!" Hailey muttered, frantically searching for her pills. "I took them." You said. She stopped in place and looked at you. "...What?"
