Chapter 30: Walking back

"Bye guys!" I shouted back and waved at Kofuko and Daikoku smiling. "You look pretty, Y/N." Yato said and lightly pushed me. "Thank you, Yato." I said and pushed him lightly as well. He smiled at me. But this was a diffrent kind of smile,more kinder and it made me smile back. Maybe I do like Yato after all everything that he's done. "You know that Y/F/C looks good on you." He said and smiled. "I know." I said and flicked my hair acting like a sassy chick. Yato laughed at me and he tried flicking his hair but, it was to short. "It doesn't work on you." I said laughing at him. "Okay fine." He grunted and made a sad face. He acted like he was dieing and started fake crying. I couldn't hold in my laugh because Yato was killing me. My stomach hurt so much and I bursted out laughing at him. Next thing I know I start falling forward and I feel arms around me. I laughed in Yatos arms as he laughed at the scene below him. "Clumsy, I see." He said and smirked pulling me up. I carried on laughing. "You can stop now." He said getting annoyed. "No...Yato...you kill me." I said laughing my words. Yato grunted and rolled his eyes. "Sorry,Yato." I said smiling.

"Good." He said and pushed me lightly again. I pushed him harder and he slipped and grabbed my hand pulling me down with him. "When I fall,you fall with me." He said and laughed at me. My face was covered in dirt. "That's not funny." I said and punched him on his chest playfully. "You're funny." He said and laughed getting up. He picked me up and wiped off my face. "There we go. Now I can see your pretty face." He said and smiled. "Yay." I said sarcastically.

For the rest of the time we just walked back to the shrine in silence smiling.

The next day...

I felt a lot better today. I didn't really expect Yato to help me so much but, I owed him. "Hey, Y/N your friend wants to see you." Said Yato and I looked around to see Yokou standing with Yato waving. "Yokou!" I shouted and we hugged each other. "I heard what happened and surprize! We threw a party for you at Tenjins shrine and he sent me to tell you to come." She said happily and I smiled. Maybe I needed something like this to calm what i'm going through right now. I looked at Yato and he nodded. "It could be kinda fun." He said and smiled. "So is that a yes?" Asked Yokou and I smiled. Yato laughed. "Sure is." He said and put his arm around my shoulders. I lightly blushed at the sudden movement but, luckly I didn't do anything to him. She laughed and clapped. "Yay!" She shouted and grabbed my hand dragging me with her. "Let's go." She said and pulled Yato as well. We just laughed at her struggling to pull us along.

"Is this party going to be fun?" I asked. Yato looked at me and laughed. "Tenjin is old,Yokou are you sure he can pull it off?" He asked. Yokou carried on pullung us and then she stopped and we both fell. "Ouch." I mumbled and got up. "He's an old man but, he sure knows how to party." She said. We laughed and dusted ourselves off. "So can you not pull us anymore. I think you dislocated my arm." Yato moaned. I pushed him and he made a wincing sound. Is he seriously hurt right now? I looked at Yokou who stared at his horrible acting. She looked at me and smiled. We both looked at him and we walked away while he moaned.

"Hey,you seriously hurt me!" He shouted behind us. We carried on walking. We heard a grunt and then steps were following us. "So you guys just leave me when i'm at my weakest?" He asked and laughed. "Yato you're a horrible actor." I said and Yokou agreed and laughed. "Well...at lest I can." He mumbled. I see Yokou stop walking. She ran towards him and shouted. "You swore you would never bring that up again!" She screamed at started hitting Yato. All I could do was laugh at the scene infront of me. I wonder what she was going on about anyway?
