The Rising Champion

chapter 2

   I was untacking Sampson in the grooming stall, I still need to give him a bath and pack his trunk it was 4:45 now. So I got his bath stuff ready then moved him to a wash stall, I hosed him off then scrubbed him with Cowboy Magic shampoo, then I cleaned his mane and tail with mane n tail shampoo and conditioner, and last I scrubbed his one white sock with quicksilver after that I hosed him down really well to get all the soap out. I brushed his mane and tail out then picked his feet I threw on his Baker sheet and put him in his stall. It was now 5:10 now I just had to clean my tack and pack everything up!

    After all my tack was cleaned I packed all my schooling/showing tack and then all my bathing and grooming supplies and some other stuff. I placed all of his shipping stuff on my wooden tack trunk so I was ready to leave bright and early tomorrow morning!  Olivia was done to so we said goodnight to our horses and the grooms since Heather was already up in her apartment packing for tomorrow. We went out to our electric scooters and rode off to our favorite local diner that we always go to before a show!

    We were sitting in our normal booth and the waitress already knew what we wanted because we came here so often and knew all the waitresses. We talked about the show while we drank our Dr.Peppers, Olivia and I would be showing against each other but that didn't affect our relationship we always supported each other and had some fun with it!

   Our food came out a little later and I started eating my cheese steak while she ate her burger. After we ate we sat there and talked for awhile then we decided to go back to my house and shower and go to bed since it was 7:30! My phone rang as I was getting up it was Steve (one of our guy friends that showed in the hunters and was going to indoors with us to)

****on phone***
Me: "hey what's up dude?"
Steve: " you wanna come get ice cream with Joe and I, Joe wants to see Olivia and I figure your with her"
Me: "yeha i am with her let me ask her"
I asked Olivia and she was okay with it
Me: " yeha we'll meet you there in about 5?'
Steve: "okay cool and I really wanna see you"
Me: "well your in luck I guess"
****end phone call***
Steve and I were just friends but we were very flirty with each other and he's hot AF!

We got on our scooters and rode off downtown to meet the guys.

  A couple minutes later we were sitting on a park bench waiting for the guys, I saw them walking up and I ran and jumped on Steve giggling. He put my hands on my butt holding me up as I wrapped my legs around his waist. Joe and Olivia already went off on there own way probably making out already. I turned around to Steve he said "so do you want ice cream" me: "uggh how about we just go on a walk around the park?"
Steve: "sounds good to me"
We walked around at first talking about the show then just in a peaceful silence, then we stopped and sat on a park bench and Steve pulled me on his lap. He looked into my eyes and said " you have beautiful eyes, you know that?"
I blushed then he kissed me.
