Lloyd's POV"Checkmate," Zane replied, "100 to 0."
I sighed as I once again lost to another game with Zane. I was getting tired of losing. I didn't even know why I was still playing with him. Probably because I had nothing else to do.
Anyway, Zane and I decided to take a little break, or finished. We went into the kitchen to get ice cream out of the freezer. It was nice, so I had a sweet tooth.
We made sundaes to relax ourselves. It's beenawhile since I had chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup, chocolate sprinkles, marshmallows....
Sorry, getting off track. That's what happens when I talk about sugar.
"Hey Kai!" I called out, "Want some ice cream?"
"Do you have chocolate?" Kai asked.
"Yes!" I said back.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps then Kai entered the kitchen. He took the scoop from my hand the served himself.
"How are you feeling?" Zane asked.
"Good, Kai replied, "Nothing hurts anymore. I'm just tired. What are you guys doing? I thought you guys were playing checkers."
"We're through with that," I said, "I'm getting tired of losing. I was thinking I could watch TV for a little bit."
"Same here," Zane replied, "Isn't your favorite show on?"
I looked at my watch and uttered a gasp. "Detective Determination" was on in two minutes.
"Shoot!" I cried, "Where's the remote?"
I ran out of the kitchen and into the living room. Kai and Zane joined me. I was able to grab the remote and turn on the TV.
"Alright!" Kai shouted, "Who wants popcorn?"
"Me!" I called.
"Perhaps I shall have some too," Zane said.
Kai smiled then went into the kitchen. I scanned through channels to find the show. I forgot which one it was.
Suddenly, the door of the Airjitzu Temple opened fiercely. Zane and I turned to the left to see it was Cole. He had one of his hands on his head, and his hair and shirt was wet. His expression seemed like he was upset.
I didn't have a good feeling about this.
"Hey," I replied, "So how did it..."
Before I could finish, Cole continued to walk past the TV without even looking at us then went upstairs.
"....go?" I slowly said.
Kai walked out with a bowl of popcorn in his hands. He stood next to me and looked puzzled.
"What's up with you?" Kai asked.
"Cole just came home," I said, "But...I think something went wrong."
"Oh, well...can't say that I'm surprised."
"Huh?"
"Maybe you should talk to him."
"Me? Why? Why can't you or Zane talk to him?"
"Because Zane's eyes are glued to the television, and the last time I talked to him, he shoved me down the stairs! And I'm pretty sure if I get shoved again I won't even live from it."
"Calm down Kai," I raised on hand up, "Maybe we'll go talk to Jay and Nya. I'm pretty sure they know."
"Alright," Kai said, "Where are they?"
