I'm back from vacation :)Cole's POV
It began to rain outside. I had put my hood on in order to see. I even noticed that the clouds were getting darker. I had to move quick because I could tell a storm was coming.
After about 2 minutes, the storm began to start. It started pouring out rain. The wind was blowing very hard, the clouds were pitch black, lightning and thunder began to crash down.
I had to get to lower ground. I didn't want to get struck by lightning, even though I really wanted to. I swerved down near the trees. My father's house shouldn't be too far.
The next thing I know, a huge flash of light comes out in front of my face. I suddenly began to feel weak as a strong gravity force swaps me out of the sky.
I couldn't feel my body. It's like I became paralyzed. The energy in me disappeared then everything went black.
The creepy part was I couldn't hear, see or feel anything. It was like I was nothing, or a black screen of a movie.
Suddenly, I saw a faint light. My vision came back and I could feel things again. I was slowly falling, I felt like I was sinking under water.
I started to hear voices, voices of people I knew. I heard my dad, Kai, Jay, and the rest of my friends.
The more I sank, the darker it became. All I could do was blink. I wasn't even breathing.
After a few seconds, I saw a flashback headed straight towards me. I was able to reach out and grab it, when I touched it, the memory played.
(Flashback: 10 years ago)
No one's POV
Cole was walking home with his father with a big piece of chocolate cake in his hands. His face was covered in chocolate frosting.
"This stuff is awesome!" Cole exclaimed, "I wish I could eat cake for the rest of my life!"
Lou laughed, "Do that and you won't be able to dance with your quartet."
Cole stopped chewing and stared up at his father, "Wait...I'm still gonna be dancing?"
"Why of course. It's part of our tradition. But don't worry, I won't be teaching you the Triple Tiger Sashay. It'll just be some simple stuff. Before I can get you prepared for the major dances, we need to you work on your balance."
"But dad I can't. Even if I could get it right, my quartet hates me. They probably don't wanna do anything with me now."
"Nonsense, son. You just need a little more practice that's all. I'm sure they'll understand. After all, you're only 7 years old. Now come on, let's get inside. It's about to pour."
Cole stared up at the sky. The clouds were black as night. He wished he could stand up to his father, but knowing that he'll break his heart, he only decided to keep bottling it up.
Cole slowly walked up the steps and into the house. He went into his room and sighed. He stared out the window where the rain was pounding hard against the glass.
Cole then wondered to himself, Why can't I fit in?

(Back to the present)Cole's POV
"Cole!"
I jumped and opened my eyes. I see my father staring down at me with a worried look in his eyes.
I tried to get up. But then the next thing I know, pain began to spread all over my body. I kept uttering gasps as Dad helped me up into a chair.
"W-w-what happened to me?" I stammered.
"I'm not sure," Dad replied, "I was just going through some papers when suddenly, a flash of lightning takes out the power, and you crashed into my house."
"Oh no," I groaned, "I think I just got struck by lightning-"
"Oh dear!" Dad cried, "Does it hurt anywhere? I can get you to the hospital-"
"No, Dad I'm fine," I said, "Besides, I have to go to court tomorrow and try to win a case from Sadie-"
Oops....
I slapped my hands over my mouth. Dad turned to me and gave me a puzzled look.
"Court? What are you talking about son?"
Great. I wasn't suppose to tell him. Well, now I don't have much of a choice.
I cleared my throat, "Well, as soon as I came back to the Temple, the manager Sadie was there and wanted to speak. But then it turned out that Sadie was actually the daughter of Chief Alman. They're a rich family, and Sadie is a spoiled brat. She put me under house arrest until tomorrow. You see Dad, I have to win otherwise, she's gonna sue me and take our home away."
"Wait a minute. Didn't you say you were under house arrest? Where's your collar?"
"Oh..yeah about that. I broke it off me."
Dad gasped, "Cole! You should know better than to break the law."
"No Dad you don't understand," I protested, "I'm getting blamed for something I didn't do...at least I think I didn't. Agh! I don't even remember attacking the restaurant. I don't know what to do."
"Then why did you come here?"
"Because..." I stared into his eyes, "I know you're hiding something from me."
"Nonsense," Dad said, "I'm not hiding anything from you."
"Dad I..." I paused, "You may think you're not, but I know. I don't think I was completely honest yet. Before you moved out of your old house, I fell through the wall then ended up in a strange room. When I turned on the lights, I saw five pictures on the wall with the same type of scar on my face, but they're in different colors. I noticed that they were fighting-"
Dad held a hand up to silence me, like he knew what I was talking about. He slowly shook his head then sighed.
"That was supposed to be private," Dad replied, "But I'm afraid it's time you should know. Come with me."
We went outside then went into the basement. Dad unlocked it then he turned on the lights. The room was filled with the pictures I saw last time.
"You must listen closely," Dad explained, "Our family is under a curse. We had for over 100 years. You may know everything about the First Spinjitzu Master, but do you know...or should I say.... remember the story I told you?"
I shook my head.
"Well then. Many years ago a child was born with magical abilities unlike any other. He lived happily with his mother and father. Things couldn't get better, until a ghoul rashed upon the land, she was leader out of all. She attacked the boy's family, and killed his mother. The boy and father were heartbroken. Before the ghoul vanished, she destined the boy after years of youth, he would have to defeat her in order to save his people, or the wrath of the ghoul were will take over the realm itself."
"Oh...now I remember," I replied, "But why are you mentioning it again?"
"Because of this..."
Dad revealed another curtain behind me. I gasped as I saw the picture. It showed me fighting in some sort of different world. I was lunging at my reflection in my dream. I couldn't keep my eyes off.
"Cole..." Dad paused, "Before you ran away, I was only trying to prevent this event. I hope you understand that you-"
"No.." I gasped, "No! It can't be!"
"Son calm down!" Dad cried.
"I've been living in a nightmare! If you can't prevent it then I'll do it myself!"
"Cole wait! There's more!"
I ignored him then flew off on my dragon. I couldn't believe it. I'm in a prophecy I've never seen before. Why do I have to fight my reflection? And how did the power of the Yin blade get inside of me so soon?
Wait speaking of Yin blade, I forgot about the others. They must be worried sick. I had to get back and tell them everything. That's the solution...I think.
Well...only one way to find out...
