Now, I'm the type that once something interests me i will do immense amount of research over the topic. The Lost Empire obviously wouldn't be in the normal section of the library, but it may be in the hall of Magix. A room full of forbidden spells, forbidden locations, anything forbidden basically. The issue was getting there, my best bet was going in the hall at night.

The night was still, the chirps of the crickets filled the air. I put on my socks to help drown out the sounds of my foot steps. I crept cautiously to the library, looking before I cross, checking out the area before I continued. I eventually made it to the library and went to the very back to where the door to the hall of Magix was. I turned the knob but it only shook it, wouldn't open!

"Damn it it's locked!" But I took a closer look and noticed it had no lock."Ahh, it's charmed this is going to be harder than I anticipated. I grabbed several books about disarming charms and laid them around me in a circle. I closed my eyes and concentrated, railivre.

The books levitated and they all opened at once, at that moment I opened my eyes and began to read all of them. I was using a basic charm that would allow me to speed read. After about three minutes I finished reading, all the books dropped.

I looked around to make sure no one was alerted by the noise. "Good no one heard , lets disarm this charm!" In order to do this I had to reverse the charm, I place my hand on the door and four rings appeared all in the old language of magic. "So this one is in Latin huh.."

Most charms are derived from Latin, Greek or roman roots, depending on the level of rings and the language, the charm can be extremely complex and even unbreakable.

"Level four Latin bound hmm, this is tricky I know I'm not proficient in Latin but...I can read these? Easy...but I never really did focus so much in Latin that I could easily read these. Hmm in that case the reverse would be..." Somehow the words formed and after seconds of disarming a level four charm I read the words that formed.

"Portas flectere, et aperuerit ostium. Infinitae contentiones sint viae, id est sors tua. Unus erit, vita et mors, conversus ad solem horologiis. It took awhile to process then I translated the words, they said Turn the doors of time and open the gate. Endless struggles will be unleashed, tis your fate. Life and death will become one, turn the dial towards the sun."

"What does this mean? Open what doors, what gate? Is this a riddle or some sort of trial in order for one to enter the hall? If so then wouldn't all the Masters have to do something in front of this door? No they stand here do or say something then enter, many Masters enter here.

"Wait...turn the doors of time...? Life and death as one? Turn the dial towards the sun... I GOT IT!" In front of the door was clock, I had to turn the hands at a certain hour! Towards the sun, the sun would be in the direction of the six? Life and death as one... I have to put both hands on the six! To unite "life and death!" So I did and the door shook and opened granting me access into the hall, I entered but once I entered I didn't realize that the chirping stopped and the air was filled with an ominous aura.

Yet I entered regardless, I suppose my small accomplishment was big enough to blind me from such obvious clues that something bad was going to happen...tonight.
