The Princess of the Sea

Old friends and.....

'Uhhhgg my head...Where am I? I feel the gentle swaying of the sea.....really gentle swaying, it's almost not there. Nevertheless I know that I'm on a ship. I've returned back from the sky.'

Surrounding me, I hear murmurs of people all around me. Slowly opening my eyes I find a circle of people surrounding and staring down at me.

"Hey! Newbies, give her some space-yoi!"

Putting my weight on one arm; I support myself up. I take a horizontal scan at where I was, 'What a big vessel I'm on.' As I looked around where I had landed, a loud boisterous laugh filled the air.

"Gurararara!"

'Where am I?" As I was thinking to myself trying to figure out where I was,

-3rd person POV-

-the large man that had the loud, lively laugh stood up and started toward the girl. As he approached her, he brought his arm back with his fist pointed towards her. Then his fist came flying down towards her. As he punched at the girl, she snapped out of her thought and held up a hand towards the oncoming fist.

As his fist met with the girl's hand a strong force of emanated from the connection. The large man looked at the connection of fist and hand, and smiled. The only thing flowing though the Sea Princess' mind was,

'Is he mocking me!? Why is he holding back? Well, it's good to see that an old friend's doing well,' she to also smiled at him. Turning her head slightly she saw another old friend, the Pineapple Haired Phoenix. As they made eye contact he smirked at her, and in return she gave a warm smile.

Unknowing of the old friends having a friendly greeting, much of the crew that witnessed what their captain did; they looked towards their captain in awe and surprise, then looked towards the girl with menace in their eyes.

Feeling a shift of the atmosphere becoming negative, the girl brought her hand towards her side, stood up, and looked at what the negative atmosphere was aimed towards. Then she noticed, it was at her. It was then this one voice broke the silence of glares and violently yelled at her.

"Hey!! No one blocks Pop's punches! Who are you and what are you doing here?!" The man that spoke this angrily stalked towards her. He had hair darker than the depths of midnight, strong wide shoulders, abdominal muscles which anyone would covet for, and onyx eyes which were blazing fire towards the girl. Funny, that fire looks real. Taking a closer look, she noticed that his shoulders were literally on fire!

..........'Oh I see, he has the flame-flame fruit.'

"Uncle, Uncle! What are you working on today?"

"My Dear, today I'm working on something very special."

The young Sea Princess was lifted up and now sat in her uncle's lap staring at what he was working on. In front of her she saw four glowing orbs that were red, blue, green, and grey.

"Pretty. What fruits will these become?"

"These fruits will become the elements! The power of these fruits will only be harnessed by strong willed people. Shahahah!!"

As the young princess stared at the orbs, five more orbs were added to the four that captivated her.

"The fruits these will become'll change this boring world...shahah..."

Everyone, I'm sorry!!!! I've been soo super busy with college stuff I've been too busy to even write!! This chapters a bit way too short in my opinion, but an update is better than no update, right?? I've sent my college stuff to my top school and I just need to to send stuff to some other schools. I'm in midterms right now so updates'll still be slow I'm sorry!!!
