"Please spare our children!!"
The entire bar went silent, and all eyes went to the entrance where the parents barged in from. An Agrodian's sudden laughter shifted the attention to him.
"Heheh...you're children are being taught a lesson from these pirates! Did you know that they stole from them?" The Agrodian stood up angerly and went face to face with the parents. "Your children have continuously vandalized my store! Now they steal from pirates. What are you teaching these delinquent children?"
"Hmf your old boring book store? Who even reads anymore?!"
As the store owner and the parent escalated into arguing, Marco, Thatch, and Ace emerged from the bar corner bringing the boys to their parents.
"Mom! Dad!" The three boys ran out to their grief- struck parents. "We're sorry! We won't do this again...we-we'll stop being bad."
"Yeah, we'll stop stealing and stop putting graffiti up on store windows." The parents quickly made their way and crouched to hug their children.
"My sweet boy, you could never do anything wrong." As one mother hugged her child she looked up and glared at Marco, Thatch, and Ace who stood near. After caressing his cheek and making sure he wasn't injured, she let go of her son and pushed him behind her. Whipping around, she marched up to the trio with an angry finger pointed at them.
"You! You pirates..what have you done to our children?! You must have coerced them to to telling these lies! I know my child and he would never involve himself in delinquent behavior!"
"Sorry to tell you, but your children stole from pirates." The mother took an step back with a melodramatic surprised face, but it quickly changed back to anger. She walked up to Marco and jabbed her finger into his chest.
"Now *jab* you *jab* listen *jab* here!" She lifted her hand. "You mongrel pirates-!"
"Alright Miss Linda that will be enough." The Sea Princess looked to the man who was sitting next to her.
"Old timer?"
"Mr. Mayor!" The parents all stared at the elderly man with surprised faces.
"Mayor?!" The pirates stared in surprise. Who would have thought the island's mayor would be casually drinking in some bar.
The old man got up from the bar stool shakily and reached for his cane. The Sea Princess went to his side to help, but he put an arm up.
"I'm fine little miss." She took a step back and watched as the old man slowly made his way to the parents. As he took each step his cane sounded like bangs on the bar floor which contrasted the silence in the bar. The parents were scared into silence, none daring to speak a single word.
Hesitantly approaching the mayor, one of the parents tried to speak,
"M-Mr. Mayor." *bang* Even for being a short old man, everyone in the bar could feel the same heavy atmosphere a leader shows.
"I have heard many complaints about your children from various people on this island. I also understand that you have done nothing to teach your children to behave. They have not reprimanded for the damages they've caused for shop owners." His crinkled eyes slowly opened, "It was I who asked these pirates to teach your children the lesson you all have not taught."
"What? Mr. Mayor, you allowed these mongrels to take our children?!" Many of the pirates sat surprised at what the mayor had just said. Even the Sea Princess was surprised. She looked to Marco who wore a lazy smirk. Had he known of this all along?
"What if our children were hurt or even killed by these savages?!"
*Bang*
The parents fell silent once again and the mayor leaned down to the three boys.
"Tell me young boys, were you hurt?" Stepping forward timidly one boy answered,
"No sir."
"And were you forced into telling lies?" The boy looked down.
"No sir. Us three have cause trouble all around the island. When we came here we were treated well and given a meal. Then our parents came." The mayor looked to the parents who avoided making eye contact then looked back to the boys with a serious expression. He leaned down way too close for comfort and raised an eyebrow.
"Now tell me, will you three change your actions and behave from now on?" There was a small pause, but after receiving a 'yes sir' from each of the boys he gave a sharp nod. "Good." He looked to Marco, "Now, I believe I have some things to discuss with your captain."
Leisurely coming forward, Marco and the mayor left the bar and made their way to Whitebeard who was on the Moby Dick.
After the pair left, the bar began to become wild. The familiar giddiness, everyone could feel it. A new island was about to become part of the Whitebeard Pirates' territory.

After Marco was gone with the mayor, Thatch had dragged the Sea Princess and Ace into a drinking game.
Thatch had seen the last confrontation of the fire fruit user and the Sea Princess and decided that he would be the bridge to bind them into a friendship. Their last confrontation being the first time they met each other. It was still a bit awkward between the two, but by the end of the night Thatch was positive they would be friends. Surprisingly, he found that the Sea Princess was very shy.
Going to the bar at the front and having a small conversation with the bartender, Thatch came back to the table with a tray full of mugs. He slammed down a wooden mug in front of each of them and gave a nice toothy smile.
"Drink!" Grabbing a mug of his own he started chugging down the contents.
As the drinking game reached its' end, Thatch saw that the two were really warming up to each other. He smiled to himself and gave a content sigh, 'a job well done,' he thought proudly. Now to wait for the mayor to accept Whiebeard's proposal to be under his protection.
After the Whitebeard Priates has drunk the bar dry, they made their way back to the Moby Dick to continue drinking, already with many in a drunken state.

Soon after the pirates had returned, the meeting with Whitebeard and Agrodi's mayor had ended. When Marco made his way to the deck, everyone looked to him and waited for the response. Did the mayor agree or disagree? What was the verdict. Marco simply gave a smirk and the entire deck bursted our cheering. It seems there would be another party tonight.
