[ Third person's pov ]
"No!" He screamed desperately lined with rush and fear. Before his sister was named as victim, he ran and stood firmly in front of her, letting his back face the kagune that pierced towards him. He looked at his sister one more time, grateful that she wasn't labelled as victim. On the other hand, his sister's face was plastered with fear and ultimate shock. He smiled gently, before falling to her lap. He looked at her again, this time; tears slipping out of his glassy eyes and blood was seeping out of his chest. He was dying.
"Ya-Yasha..?" She managed to crock out.
"Ya-Yami.." He spoke slowly and softly, coughing out a bit of blood, but he pushed himself to talk.
"I'm so sorry..for leaving you at times of hardships..I-I left because Father was having an affair..and I knew he won't pay for your medical treatment.." He coughed again, "You were so young..you didn't know you had a heart disease.."
"Yasha..please..st-stop.." She mumbled, shaking violently as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"When I came back, I-I couldn't find you..when I did, you were brought up by Tsukiyama Shuu.." He mumbled, "I couldn't bring myself to talk to you..so I left you be.."
"Yasha..stop..we'll get out of here, okay? You're hurting yourself by talking." She pleaded him.
He clutched the hem of her shirt, begging her to listen to the rest of his words.
"I wanted..to..sacrifice my happiness for you in this world eternally..but I wasn't the one who could make y-you h-ha-happy.." He broke down to more tears.
"Yami.." He whispered as he eyelids slowly begin to shut, "I..lov-"
"Yasha!" She screamed, more tears were falling as she shook him; hoping he would wake up. She held his hand for one last time, "Yasha! Wake up!" She screamed in pain and regret.
"Why the hell didn't I know this earlier?! I could have just been h-happy with you, Yasha!" She trembled, as tears wouldn't stop falling down. She clutched his hand tighter, just like how she used to before Yasha left her in times of childhood.
But no matter how many tears she shed for him, he would never come back to life.
"You.." She gritted her teeth as she slowly got up and faced the other male before her.
"I'll murder you.."
