ch 12 the date

Storm's POV

*one week later*

"OMGs, OMGs, OMGs, OMGs, OMGs," i was pacing my room worrying about what would happen tonight. Jason must have heard me because he walked in to calm me down. "Hey calm down, it's your first date it's normal to be nervous. If it makes you feel better will says Brian is just as worried." "what? Why would he be worried?" "this may surprise you but this is his first date too." i looked at Jason waiting for him to say 'kidding!' or 'just messing with you!' but he didn't. He gave me a small box, there was pink wrapping paper on it with little red hearts to match. "I hope you like it, i picked it out myself." i opened the box to see a turquoise skirt and a light blue shirt, along with that there was a necklace with the symbol of the gods on it, engraved on the back was the words 'we love you Storm' "Thalia helped with the charm," Jason added quickly, thalia quickly walks in as if on cue. "OK jason, scram, i want to spend some time with my little sis before her big night." i start blushing a little and Jason quickly leaves the room.

Thalia steps into the hall while i change, when she comes back in i'm standing in the center of the room my new outfit on. "Oh sweetheart, you look beautiful, but we have to work on your hair a bit before you can go anywhere." she said quickly before setting to work. By the time she was done, my hair was brushed perfectly, my dress was fixed and she had put the necklace on me. Thalia took a step back to admire her handy work, she looked so proud of me she couldn't help crying, she gave me a hug and cried, "my little sis is growing up." she looked at me still crying but she had a smile on her face. She wiped her tears, "you're ready. Now if he starts making you uncomfortable just tell him, politely, i can tell he really likes you." at that she leads me into the main living room the boys stair in aw as i walk into the light. Jason gives me a hug, and nico says that he can't believe that they got me into a dress. Thalia quickly explains why nico was there. "Ok sweetheart, nico is here so you can get there and back without needing to worrying about harpies, both will and Chiron says it's ok, as long as you stay in the camp. Other than that you can go anywhere, did you have someplace planned?" Jason steps up, "actually yes they did," he quickly whispers something into Nico's ear and he nods. I was confused we actually hadn't planned anything i was about to ask what Jason was talking about but something stopped me. I grabbed Nico's hand and he led me into the shadows.  

When we got out we were on Zeus's first, it was the place Brian had asked me out, but this was different now there was a blanket on the ground and a bunch of food spread out on it. Sitting on the blanket was Brian , he was wearing his usual shorts and camp half blood T-shirt but his messy hair was combed perfectly, it was obvious a guy had dressed him. He looked at me and kinda stared i looked at nico and he said when we needed to taken back all i needed to do was levitate a burning box near his cabin. He showed us the matches and box and then shadow traveled back to his cabin.

We talked for a while then we decided on playing 20 questions. After a while we started to get tired but we thought it was too late to call for nico so we found a cave not too far from where we were sitting, we crawled in grabbing the blanket we were sitting on. The cave was small, more like a little indent then a proper cave. The ceiling was tall and the walls were thin, so we were pressed together, not that we minded. Half an hour later we fall asleep in each others arms.
