ch 13 morning

Storm's POV

"Oh you are so dead!" my eyes flung open to see Jason staring at us from the cave opening . we crawled out and Jason stared at us for an explanation. "Ok well Jason, we were tired but we assumed you guys were all sleeping so we didn't want to wake you for our sake, so we found this cave and crashed here for the night." Brian tried his best to explain but it looked like Jason wasn't done drilling us with questions. "Ok storm, if you just slept here, what kept you from sleep levitating away." I was about to defend myself when Brian stepped forward. "Actually, that was my doing." he said and my heart sank, he just doomed himself. "We were cuddling for most of the night and the cave was small. That and i'm relatively heavy so she wasn't going to levitate away." Jason looked at him trying to see if he was lying, but he wasn't. "Fine you got lucky, sunboy, but next time i won't ask questions." "yes sir, Jason sir!" Brian said and Jason glared at him. When Jason walked away i broke down laughing, Brian looked at me. "What's so funny?" i stop laughing, "i thought you were dead meat. Jason was ready to beat you to a pulp and you kept your composure, I've seen so many different people terrified of Jason when he's mad, why weren't you?" Brian looked at the ground for a minute then he spoke, "i'm not sure, i guess i was more confident with you by my side." i started blushing, he laughed. We walked back to camp hand in hand.

When we got there, thalia ran up to me and threw me in a hug. "What happened last night, why didn't you call for nico?" we looked at each other, "we'll explain later, but for now we're off to go get breakfast." at that we walked away thalia yelling at us from the distance, that only made us smile and run faster. We got to breakfast, and Brian went to go get his food when i stopped him, he noticed that he was levitating a foot from the ground, i brung him back to my table, and plopped him down on the seat. "Aw come on storm let me eat, i'm hungry." he wined. I levitated two plates to us and his eyes widened. "This is my favorite breakfast, how did you know?" "it my favorite i just guessed you might like it." we smiled at each other. Jason walked over and all of a sudden there was a wind that seemed to say get lost. Jason glared at Brian , it was one of his better death stares, Brian looked at me almost fearful, but i smiled at him and he started to smile. Brian got a evil look in his eyes, he looked at Jason smugly, we were sitting next to each other, so he leaned over and kissed me on the cheek, i blushed so hard and my ears went flat against my head. Jason glared at him again, but he just smiled back.

Brian is perfect without trying. His short hair is perfectly messy and he looks strong with defined muscles, even though he's not that strong, and his perfect sea green eyes... a hand waves in front of my face and i realize i'm staring, "oh, um, what did you say?" "i said, do you think Jason would mind if we hung out tonight?" i was about to answer when i froze, i had know idea if Jason would care. "I..don't..know.." i admit at last. "Well we should  ask him. Come on." he said and he tugged at my hand. It wasn't until we started running that i realized that Brian is a lot faster than me, he was pulling me the whole way there. I stopped for a minute, "whats wrong? Your a lot stronger than me, i thought that you would be faster than me as well." Brian said with a smile, he wasn't tired at all when i was totally winded. "I'm all upper body strength," i say with a huff, "i'm not used to running, i levitate almost everywhere, even in sprints. My doctors want to see if i have a limit." i admit, "that's why you levitated me up to you the day i asked you out, you were testing yourself." he asks i nod. "Now that makes sense, i was wondering why you had done that, i thought you were trying to get me away from your brother. Hey why don't you levitate and i pull you, well go twice as fast." he smiles at that last part i grab his hand and float in the air. He starts running, "tell me if i start to weigh you down." i add quickly, "are you kidding, you weigh practically nothing, are you sure you're eating enough?" "since when are you my doctor," i laugh, "i weigh nothing when i'm levitating same with every thing i lift." he nods and just runs faster.
