ch 14 Surprises

Jason's POV

I was just leaving for archery when i see it. Brian is running toward me with storm levitating behind him both grinning like idiots. When they got to me Brian huffed, obviously out of breath, and storm just laughed. "What's wrong with you two?" i almost asked if there was an emergency, but they talked too fast. "Nothings wrong with us." Storm giggled, Brian chimed in, "we wanted to know if there was a problem with us hanging out tonight." i immediately thought yes, i wanted storm to be happy, but then again i didn't really trust this, Brian, guy with my little sister, 'half sister' i thought, that's what she said last summer. I was snapped back into reality but Storm, i shook my head, "no, you can't. Will wants me to keep an eye on you tonight, probably tomorrow." it's not like i was lying will really did want me to keep an eye on her, but he wanted it to be with Brian, to see how her powers react to strong emotions like hate, joy, love. But i needed Brian to help with some if not all of them. which means i have to allow him to hang out with us. "um , as much as i hate to say this, Brian you have to come too."

Storm's POV

"wait , you said i can't hang out with Brian because i'm going to be busy hanging out with Brian?" i was almost excited about getting another excuse to hang out with Brian but i couldn't help wonder why will had requested that he hang out with us. We had a few hours before we were stuck to my cabin so we decided to use this to our advantage. First we went to the infirmary to ask why will wanted us to be together while Jason watched, but he didn't give us a reason, he said Jason would explain it to us. We only knew that it was going to be a long night.
