(the scene take place before the war )

James was your brother , your twin brother actually , he already told you that he wanted to go to the war but you knew it was too dangerous "No , you will not go there ! "

"I want to fight for my country ! you can't tell me no !"

"James , I don't want to lose like we lose dad ..."

"I will come back , I swear"

"That's what he said ..."

"For god sake , stop being so dramatic !"

" dramatic ? you know what ? go if you want . I don't care"

"(y/n) , i'm sorry ..."

"that's okay." you leave before he could see your tears . You knew that tomorrow , he will go to the war and you couldn't handle it.

*time skip*

Today was the day your twin brother leaves , you get dressed and when the time came to go , you were stuck , like you couldn't move , scared to fall and you started to cry , all your body hurted like hell and you cried for a good 30 minutes .

When You stopped crying , you leave your house and walked fast to the train station.  You heard the bell of the train that signal it will leave soon and you started to run to not miss your brother and you saw him , waiting for you , when he sees you , a bright smile came to his face , you runned towards him and jumped in his arms , he spuns you around , kissing your cheek
"god (y/n) I thought you will not come "

"Sorry for being late James , and I will always be here with you "

"I love you so much"

The bell rang again "no...I don't want to let you go , I can't "

He takes your face between his hands " I promess , I will come back for you" you hugged him and cried . You pulled away , he kissed the top of your head and entered the train , he looked back and said "I will come back doll , I promess "
You cried and waved at him , he sended you a kiss and the train started to move and he completely disappeared.

*Time Jump*

It's been 1 month since James went to the war and you didn't had any news about him since that. As you were about to go out , someone knocked on the door,  you opened the door and saw 2 men in an army uniform
"Are you miss Barnes ?

" uh yeah?  Why ?" They gave you the kind of look no one want to see "No...He can't be dead... He...He promessed me !"

"We are sorry for your lost miss , Sergeant Barnes fought for our country,  he is the only one , in the Howling Commando,  to give up his life for us"

"I don't care!  He is my brother!  Leave me alone ! "

"Wait ! He wanted to give you this"

They handed you a letter "thank you..." you close the door and started to read it :

"Dear (y/n) ,
If you are reading this,  it's that I'm not in this world anymore, but I wanted to serve for my country, to make dad proud but I wanted to make you prouder,  so like that I would always be a hero in your eyes,  I love you so much little sister, you can't imagine how. I'm proud of you, you are a strong, beautiful and independente woman.  Please (y/n) for me , keep living,  don't do anything stupid and remember I love you.
        You James , your twin brother."

You were in tears , you couldn't breath , you looked up and said "you taked all the stupid with you James , I'm proud of you , you are and you will always be my hero , I love you ."
