It's Monday. Can I not go back to school, like no, please just no. I thought, it was raining and it's 6:30am. God, I hope the rain never stops so I can at least have an excuse to be late to school.
I haven't been returning calls, messages or any form of communication, including gifts. Ever since the 'Jesse' incident, everyone has been messaging me non-stop on how it went. Especially, the girls. They called again and again but I didn't picked it up. I told them many, many excuses. I think they're pissed off at me, oh well. It's my fault anyway.
I'm honestly disappointed. Disappointed is what I am feeling right now.
Disappointed at Jese? Yes.
Disappointed of myself? Most definitely.
I don't blame him for all of this. I mean, he must probably know that I know that he's the kind of guy to 'love them and leave them', but I expected something different to come out of him. When he lifted his shirt and showed his abs, he thought I would be instantly turned on by that and 'eat' him up like an animal. But, no. He showed no respect towards me by doing that. I mean, I have been constantly trying to stay away from those kind of people and I am not going to be trapped in one of their 'game'. Someone has got to show that boy a lesson.
He has been sending gifts like: chocolates and flowers. It's not even valentine's day. Just don't get reeled in and forgive him when he does that. It will show that your weak. That's what people always say. Jesse did messaged me and called me many times. I am not picking up or replying any though, I still couldn't believe what he done. He was meeting me for the first time, he should have shown some respect.
The sudden loud knock on the door made me escaped from my thoughts.
"You can come in!" I said, sipping my cup of tea from last night. Cold but still good.
My dad came in while holding the phone. "It's that Jesse boy again. I think you should really talk to him, he has been calling non-stop." My dad said.
"Tell him, I'm.. uhm.. reading a really interesting book and I don't want to be disturbed." I said. Aah, good excuse, I thought. I was running out of excuses.
"No, you got to talk to him. He said he won't stop ringing our phone until you talk to him. Come on, talk to him. For me, your mom and your sister's sake." My dad said. He has been calling me (almost) non-stop and my family are the ones who always pick them up, rarely he calls on a time that's not right. I decided I would pick it up then, I feel bad for them.
"Fine, but for you guys only." I said, then my dad handed me the phone. He mouthed a 'thank you', then closing my door. This is as good as it's gonna get.
"Yea, hello?" I said through the phone.
"Listen, Nicolette." The way he said my name. No, wait, focus. You hate him. "I'm really, really sorry for what I did in the park. I should've known you aren't those kind of 'girls'" He said. Finally a real apology.
"Go on." I said.
"Okay, so, I want to make it up to you, face to face. How about you meet me after school today?" Jesse said. It's 7:00 already. Shoot me, I haven't ate breakfast.
"Okay, just text me the details, you know my number." I said to the stalker, I mean Jesse.
"Bye, I'll see you." He said as he hung up. What have I gotten myself into.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"No way he did that!" Meghan said almost too loudly at our lunch table. I promised them all of the details and so, here I am, telling them all of them, everything. And all the eyes are on me.
"Shh! Not too loud, Meg." Cara said, turning to Meghan. "He might hear it." then turning to face me. "So sorry for what he did, Nix. You deserve better."
"Yeah, that guy is a douche. Just pretend like you don't know him and you'll get back to your normal life." Annie said while patting my back.
"Um yeah guys, but he apologized." I said to them.
"What? Never forgive that douche! You should never see him again." Cara said.
"Most definitely you shouldn't. He shouldn't have done that." Meghan said.
"You will never see him again, right, Nix? I mean for what he had done." Annie said.
I just responded to them by nodding and saying 'of course.' and then we gossiped through lunch.
And that is the reason why I am not telling them about the 'face-to-face apologize' after school. God, I feel bad keeping secrets from them. But, I don't know why even though they forbid me from seeing him, something is telling me to.

Text from: Jesse
Hey, it's after school, right? Meet me in the same park we first did. I'll be waiting there.
"Hey, I think I'm not going to your house today." I said to Cara.
"What's the excuse?" Cara said while Meghan and Annie were staring at me weirdly.
"My mom just texted me and she wants to take me shopping to the mall." I lied. I officially feel bad.
"Nyaw, that sucks. But, yay for new stuff!" Annie said. "Have fun, Nix!" she said as we group hugged. We always do this.
I walked away from them as I went to the bus station and sat there. As I was about to pull my headphones out from my backpack, someone tapped me on the shoulder.
"AAHH!" I screamed as I saw someone with a black hoodie.
"Sorry, I should have took my cape off." Jesse said. So it was him all along with the black hoodie. "So, since we are here, do you want to go somewhere else to talk?"
"Nah, the park is fine." I said to him. He just nodded and we stayed there in an awkward silence, he wasn't trying to be sexy or touch me me or anything. I see a progress.
When we arrived at the park, we sat on a bench and he explained everything to me and I forgive him, cause he seemed sincere and apologized like a true man. I like that.
"So, now that we got that off, why don't we start all over?" Jesse said.
"Sounds nice." I said.
"Hi, I'm Jesse Johnson. What's your name?" He said to me giving me a childish smile. God, that's cute. What, no.
"Nicolette Brown, but you can call me Nix." I said. And from that point on, I knew that we could start a real genuine friendship.
Or at least that's what I thought...
