The life of a wealthy individual is said to be perfect, but is it really that true? Many people believe that as long as there is money then there is happiness but that isn't correct, money cannot buy happiness. Money simply provides material things but nothing else, you could be the wealthiest individual on earth but that did not mean that that individual was happy.
For instance, for [Name] [Last name], she had it all or so people thought. Yes, she was born in a very wealthy family, one that was well known. She had her two parents. From the perspective of others, this might seem like a perfect life but is it? No, not for [Name]. Everyday since the day her father died, she had to live in a house with her mother who acted more like an enemy. To her it was like she was living in a place where everyday was like fighting a way for survival.
In one of the many days of [Name], she was in her room studying but was interrupted by her mother."[Name]! Come down at once!"
A long groan escaped her lips, she didn't want to deal with her right now. Despite not being in the best of moods, she stood up and sighed. " Man can't I have a minute without getting yelled at." And with that you made your way down stairs where your mother was. " What did I do this time mother?"
The way that her eyes bore into yours just didn't seem right, those eyes seem to be looking at an enemy instead of watching her daughter."Have a seat, there is something that I need to tell you.” At this you rolled your eyes but said nothing waiting for her to continue. “I’ve talked to the director of your school and we believe that it would be best if you attended another school.”
What she said felt you without words, you have never changed schools before, all of your friends went there. Why would they decide something like that all of a sudden? George. That name came into your mind. “It’s about George isn’t it? You have been planning to move in with him and is this the only way that you found to get rid of me or something?”
Anger flashed through her eyes with your argument, her hand twitched and then the sound of a slap was heard throughout the house. Any servants around gasped and moved away as if nothing has happened.
A tear ran down from the corner of your eye because of the stinging. Placing your hand on your abused cheek, you turned back to glance at her. “I’m correct.” Your mother said nothing more so you just started to turn around heading back to your room.
“I-” You heard the voice of your mother so you paused for a moment a bit curious to know if she would apologize. “I’m not going to apologize, I’t told you many times not to speak to me in that tone. As for the reason on why you’re going to another school whether you like it or not, it’s because of your last little game. Do you know how many reporters having plaguing your school wanting to know what happened? That could ruin our reputation!” She paused waiting so that the new information could sink in, she then continued. “Everything is ready for your departure, your things are being packed so that you leave tomorrow morning.”
It was upsetting to hear the news, you had expected everything but this? Not really. You said nothing else as you headed back to your room. There were only a few hours left of the day so you didn’t have much time to say goodbye to your friends. As you arrived to your room, you spotted on of the maids there and she was packing up your clothing. So having nothing else to do, you grabbed your phone and sent a text to your friends explaining why they will not see you anymore. You would have proffered to call them but you feared at if you did, you’ll only end up crying.
The next day arrived and you had been ready to leave. The sensation of looking around your room for the last time was inevitable but your loving mother interrupted you. “The chauffeur is here.” Then a few of the maids took your luggage and took them away.
