ANYWAY, I've been looking at a lot of Soulmate AUs, and just thought this would be cute. This goes by the rule that you can see every color except the color of your soulmate's eyes. And yes, Will is still a demon. And thank you so much for 30k, it means so much. Well, ON TO THE STORY!!!(A/N)

The whole "soulmates" rule had always confused you.

Why should one specific person of your preferred gender determine your eyesight abilities?

And why we're you destined to be in a romantic relationship with them?

In your mind, it was stupid.

But society thought you were stupid for feeling that way.

Ironic, isn't it?

So, here you were, walking through the woods in freezing weather, in freaking shorts and flannel because hey, you weren't known for having common sense.

You looked up at the sky, shivering. All you saw was a dark grey void. You sighed, cursing the absurd soulmates thing.

You suddenly heard a small sound. You turned to your right, and saw a small bundle of human.

He had grey hair, was wearing a grey sweater, and had grey shoes.

Or maybe they were they color of your soulmate's eyes.

You wouldn't be able to tell.

So, anyway, you decided to not be a heartless jerk and help for once.

"Hey, are you okay." you asked, getting the bundle's attention.

He looked up, and your everything changed.

His eyes were beautiful. You had never seen such a color. His hair, sweater, and shoes suddenly burst from the bland grey you had become accustomed to seeing to become a vibrant color that you had never seen in all of your years of life. The sky had also become fluorescent, thought you were too busy staring into this boy's eyes to notice.

And you were magnificent.

He had never seen such a thing in his life. Your eyes had become a beautiful color that he had never seen, and he was older than the Earth. It was spectacular.

And you realized that the soulmates rule really wasn't so stupid after all.
