Millard's voice surprises me making me jump a little. His voice sounds as if he's trying to hide some stress and cover it with an angered tone.

"You know how much trouble you can get and you even had to drag Beatrice into it." He exclaims as he walks towards my direction.

"Nothing really happened. I just needed something. The farmer just made a big deal about it" Ennoch says defensively but he is obviously annoyed.

Millard stands in front of me, I imagine he is looking down because of the angle his hat is sitting. "You aren't hurt are you?" He asks. His voice goes from anger to and tender and kind tone towards me.

"I'm fine, thank you for your concern though." I reply.
"Let me help you up." He says. He extends his hand out to me and I blindly take it. He brings me back up to my feet. It's a quick movement making me stumble a little.

"Now then, let's go retrieve Bronwyn and head back home for the day." Millard declares.

"I saw Bronwyn earlier right before we turned into the allies." I say trying to be helpful.

I begin to feel even more guilty stressing out Millard and Bronwyn about everything I caused. Im the reason we came out to the village in the first place and I didnt have the guts to tell them where Ennoch was. I want to help though I have a feeling that I should just stay quiet from now on and just follow Millard to help prevent anything else from happening today.

The three of us walk out from the thick woods and cautiously scope out for our lost friend. Luckily she had already guess where we were and was able to pin point us before we had to search for her.

"Ennoch, what goes through your head? You could've have gotten someone hurt." She says glaring down to him. I know immediately that when she says someone she is referring me.

Ennoch just stares back with his resting annoyed face.

I want to tell her I'm fine and that we shouldn't worry about it anymore and just go back to the house but I hold my tongue.
"Let's head back, shall we?" Millard says quickly, walking away. His pace is quick, leaving us a good ten feet behind. I walk beside Bronwyn looking down at the ground.

"I'm sorry." I mutter.

"Don't blame yourself." Bronwyn says waving off my apology. "It's not like you can control Ennoch and this isn't the only time it has happened." She explains in effort to comfort me. I show a weak smile. She smiles back. "And don't worry about Millard, he's just a little stressed. We haven't had a new member in years and wants to make a good impression. He also feels a part of responsibility over some of the kids." She reassures me. I look out towards his direction. "How will Miss Peregrine even know we caused some trouble? And what will she do to us?" I ask as I see the house come into sight. The feeling fear begins to boil within me of the unknown possibilities of Miss Peregrine's actions. Not towards me but towards Ennoch, Millard, and Bronwyn. "Knowing our mistres, she probably already knows." She lets out a small laugh. "But she will sometimes make us do an extra chore. She might just let us off with a warning considering you're new." She continues.

Millard reaches the massive door and waits for the rest of us to catch up before he swings it open.
He lets out a sigh to compose himself and enters the house.

"Welcome back children." The woman welcomes us.

"I imagine that you had a fun time down by the beach." She continues as she glides over closer. We smile shyly towards her.

"I see someone has brought back some souvenirs." She says landing her eyes directly towards Ennoch.

"Sorry ma'am" I unexpectedly but in. "I didn't mean for all of this to happen." I pause for a moment realizing what I just did. The guilt was taking over. "It's my fault."

I recipe be shocked glances from Ennoch and Bronwyn. It even seems Millard is shocked by my statements.

"Miss Beatrice, I knew this was going to happen. You don't have to but the blame on yourself." She places her scrawny hand upon my shoulder showing affection.

I look up at her as she smiles down at me. She then looks over to Ennoch. "Please, take more caution next time." She says, making a motion with her head to imply that Ennoch should head to his room for the rest of the day.

"Now, please excuse me. I must attend to other matters" the elder says before gliding into the kitchen. Ennoch has already made it up the stairs and Bronwyn begins to make her trip up the stairs with Millard in front. I slowly climb up the stairs up to the second floor. I reach the makeshift stairs that lead to my room up in the attic and make my up up them as well. I stand in the room in silence looking around. I find myself to be almost lost in what to do now. I skid my feet along the wood on the floor leaving a trail of footprints in the dust. I peek out the round window to see most of the kids playing around in the field below. I want to join but I'm not the best at talking to people so I decide to stay out of it for now. I walk over to the single bed and sit on the edge and look at the dresser that is engulfed with dust.

Though every says it's not my fault about what happened today but I still feel guilt gnawing at me. I feel like I need to apologize more but it probably won't make a difference anyway. I lay on my back staring up at the ceiling, lost in thought. Soon I feel tired and sleep takes over me.

~Sorry it took so long to update, I have had so much happen lately. Luckily soon I will have more time to write. (Please ignore all the grammatical errors)
