This story idea came to me when I was watching Suicide Squad. I've honestly never been much of a Batman fan, but I do love the villains. So I took what little information I knew and developed a plot. For example; the last Batman movie I saw, Bruise Wayne and Catwoman run off together, so in my story I had them retire and get married.
I did some research on if Joker and Quinn ever had a baby. It turns out they did. Lucy. Penny is not at all based off Lucy. In fact, I consider my story to take place in a different DC Universe. (I did some research on the DC Worlds).
I was going to add more interesting twists, like making Opal into a super as well (which was related to her hatred for fish), but there wasn't room in the plot for that. Instead, I've decided to create my own original superhero line up. I already have a few villains planned out, but I'm struggling with a hero.
But that's a latter project.
I'm very proud that I managed to work through my writers block at some points and finish this story how I wanted.
