Chapter 3: Team Dragon

        "Are we there yet?" I said trying to keep up with Rose.

        "For the fifteenth time, no!" Rose exclaimed annoyed.

        "Take a chill pill" I whispered under my breath.

        "What was that?" Rose asked as she stopped and looked at me.

       "Nothing!" I said nervously. "But, you have to admit that they kinda put this school in the middle of nowhere"

       "Yeah, but it shouldn't be much longer.  After all I think it's right up there" Rose said pointing out the giant building ahead of us.

       "Then what are we waiting for." I said as I started to sprint over there. As we got there we stood in awe at the huge Campus with many buildings on it with the one huge main building in the center. It almost looked like it was brand new with how clean it was and with the buildings having perfectly trimmed edges and almost no aging in the walls.

      "Hello again Gold" The Professor said sneaking up behind us almost as she appeared out of nowhere.

"AAHH!!!" Rose and I screamed as we were startled by the professor.

"Oh sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to say welcome and give you your school schedule" The Professor said as she handed me it.

"What about Rose's schedule?" I asked.

"Yeah don't I get one?" Rose said confused.

"Actually Rose since you are an immortal your gonna help teach" the Professor said in response to our questions. The professor then grabbed Rose by the arm and started to walk off to show Rose the rest of the school.

"Wait teach!?" Rose said nervously as she got dragged away.

"Don't worry Rose, teaching isn't as bad as it looks!" I yelled to her as she got dragged away. "Yeah she's doomed" I said after Rose and the Professor were out of view.

I now stood there alone being eclipsed in the shadow of the main building of the campus in front of me. I decided to look at the schedule that the Professor gave me and I noticed that it showed that I was late for my first class. "Crud!" I said panicked as I hurried with full force to the what I think was a Gym. As I ran into the building I got pulled into the wave of people that filled the auditorium who were all watching a man in army fatigues standing on a stage talking through a mic.

"So remember when I say your name come up and you will get assigned to your team" the man said. A little while after he formed a few of the teams I heard him yell my name, "Is there a Gold or not? I won't call for you again". In hopes of not starting the day with a teacher already hating me I rushed over to the stage and waited for him to say the name of the other people that were going to be on my team. 

"Is there a Mister Daku?" The teacher said staring at his clip board.

"Thank you for getting my name right. Here's a few bucks, go wild." Daku said as he walked up the steps and handed him 50 dollars.

"Whoa!" The teacher exclaimed,"I mean. I won't take bribes Mr. Daku", the teacher said as he slipped the money into his back pocket.  Daku walked over and stood next to me with a slight look of judgment in his eyes as he saw my clothing. He wore a sharp tuxedo with a well sewn tie and a golden wrist watch. It was obvious that he was a rich snob with his polished shoes, slick backed hair, and an awful attitude to people who weren't in as fancy clothing as him. Suddenly the teacher sighed and with regret he announced, "The Loki Twins." As he finished his sentence two teens appeared behind him out of cloud of green smoke one dressed in a green shirt and jeans with black tennis shoes(very original) and the other with a red tie die shirt and shorts with the same tennis shoes. 

"Runner and Alexa reporting for mischief" The twins both said with a salute. Then to prove a point Runner pulled out a wand and cast a spell at Daku to mess up his hair.

"Hey!" Daku yelled trying to fix his hair.

The Teacher sighed and continued down the list for our team. "Neptune." The Teacher said with ease. As he said so, a big muscle bound man walked up to the stage.  He had skin as brown as mud and was as intimidating as a dragon. It was surprising that he was just now being put on the team from the fact that he wore a suit of metal armor and had a giant war axe on his back. The only thing he was missing was a helmet and he still looked like he had fought here for thousands of years. As he walked on the stage, he smiled and waved to everyone in the crowd. After seeing that, he seemed a lot less intimidating. "And finally Olivia" The Teacher read with joy that he was done making the team.

"YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Olivia screamed.  She ran quickly over to the stage and stopped at the teacher and yelled with excitement, "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I NEVER THOUGHT I GET PUT ON THE SAME TEAM AS MY BFFNMW!!!!!!!!"

"What now?" The Teacher asked.

"You know... he's my Best Friend Forever No Matter What. DUH!!!!!" Olivia explained.

"OK..." The Teacher said confused. Olivia then ran over to where we were all standing excited to be on the same team as her bffnmw Neptune. "Well then, now that your team has been formed you will be..." The Teacher said as he paused for effect, "TEAM DRAGON!!!!"
