Barely an acquaintance.
This isn't a relationship.
You can't get angry
When I don't listen.
I don't know you.
You don't know me.
This isn't kindness,
Nor is it cruelty.
It is a conversation
That never wanders past
The awkward pleasantries.
This isn't a moment
From a blissful story.
Stop trying to make it one.
I'm satisfied with my lot
Without having known you.
