Okay, if we as students, don't raise our hands, that means we'd rather not speak and remain a silent child. Like, I'd prefer to stay silent during class and not read. Obviously I didn't raise my hand for a reason..?

What if people possibly have anxiety? When you call on them they have a chance of breaking down or just panicking?

I just don't like hearing my voice, which is why I stopped volunteering to do reading in English or stuff like that. I'm not the own to be outgoing, though I feel as time has gone on, I've gotten better.

Back to teachers- CALL ON THE PEOPLE THAT WANT TO SPEAK. I respect that you don't want the same person to keep answering things, but some kids don't know the answer and don't want to guess and then get made fun of.

Example of above^: Someone used the word insomnia. The teacher liked it and wanted another student to use it. So she called on this one kid who didn't know what insomnia was, the sentence he used was "I walked down the stairs, insomnia." Now the whole class and beyond makes fun of him.
