She's kissing Lauren. She's kissing Lauren's lips. Lauren's lips are chapped but she didn't mind. They're plump. But there's a problem. Lauren isn't kissing back. No, she isn't kissing back, she's pushing her away. Separating their lips. Her cheek stings. Lauren slapped her. Fuck.
"Camila what the hell are you doing?" Lauren yelled, standing up off the bed.
Camila opened and closed her mouth a few times, not knowing what to say. After all, she did just kiss her straight best friend. "I'm sorry Lauren, I don't know what happened I-I just, I don't know, I'm sorry." She answered softly, her cheeks burning.
Lauren sighed, sitting back down on the bed. The girl wrapped her arms around Camila, rubbing her back. "No, it's fine, just, warn a girl next time, will ya?" She chuckled, kissing her friend's cheek.
Camila swore her face was going to melt off from how hot her cheeks were. She nodded, breathing in the older girl's scent.
"Besides," Lauren continued, "you love me."
Lauren was right. Camila did love Lauren. Hell, she was in love with her. Lauren was the kindergartener that shoved Austin into the sandbox after putting grass in Camila's PB&J, the girl who pulled out a chunk of Wendy's hair in fifth grade for laughing at Camila's shoes, the girl that held Camila all night as the brown eyed girl cried when her father was pronounced dead, the girl who would do anything for Camila without a second thought. She was Lauren, the girl who stole Camila's heart without knowing it.
Camila giggled, falling back onto the bed. "Let's finish the movie, shall we?" She asked, opening her arms for the green eyed girl.
