Camila was in love. She knew that, has been for a while now. But she also knew that each day that she and the green eyed girl had their "flings", she'd only end up even more hurt in the end.

Now she can't even keep track of the countless nights she's stayed up crying, begging God or some higher power to let things go right for once in her life.

She then chuckles at herself, remembering that nothing good happens in her life. Her younger sister's death, her father's death, all of it. Her mom was an alcoholic, barely scraping enough cash to keep food on the table. Camila worked two jobs herself, letting her have the luxury of a phone, at least.

Lauren would help out as much as possible, too. Letting the brown eyed girl stay over when her mother would come home drunk, yelling and sobbing.

She thought having something to love in life, would make things better. But she was wrong. It killed her even more.

Camila fluttered her eyes open, meeting a sea of black hair. She tucked a strand of the older girl's hair behind her ear, tracing her jawline with her finger.

Green eyes slowly opened, a soft smile forming on Lauren's lips. "Morning, Camz." she rasped, snuggling closer to the smaller girl.

Camila smiled, kissing the top of the green eyed girl's hair. "Good morning," she whispered, enjoying Lauren's warmth.

In that moment, everything felt okay for once.

But it was only in that moment.
