Lauren sat on her bed, listening to music. She didn't know what to think. Camila was the one that wanted to do what they were doing, yet the girl has been distant.

She groaned, slamming her laptop shut. The music abruptly stopped, filling the room with silence.

A couple soft knocks sounded from her door, the door cracking open. "Laur, are you okay?" Taylor asked, popping her head into her sister's room.

Lauren nodded, grabbing her phone off of her nightstand. "I'm going over Camila's for a bit. Tell mom I won't be here for dinner."

Taylor eyed her older sister for a few moments before nodding and slipping out of the doorway.

Lauren ran down the stairs, slipping out the back door.

Lauren greeted Camila's mom at the door before walking down the hall to her best friend's room. "Hey Camz, I was—" Lauren stopped speaking when she saw the smaller girl frantically slam her notebook, hiding it in her desk.

Camila turned around in her swivel chair, a tight smile on her face. "Heyy, Laur. What's up?"

The green eyed girl raised her eyebrows, shaking her head. "Anyways...I was wondering if you wanted to go to Ikea. Ya know, just to bum around." She asked.

Camila giggled, standing up from the chair. "It's a date. Well—no, it's not a date it's a friendly outing, a hang out session, a—" She rambled, blushing furiously.

Lauren laughed, wrapping her best friend in a hug. "Don't hurt yourself with all those names, babe."

The brown eyed girl blushed even harder at the name, smiling softly.
