Prologue:
My name is Katie Reed, I'm 14 years old. I live in Hagerstown, Maryland with my mom, my twin brother, my little sister,and my step dad. The problem is that my step dad abuses my brother and I, but my mom and my sister don't know because we're home alone when he does it (and he threatened to kill us if we told anyone). Anyways my older brother lives in Nashville, Tennessee where I'm moving to this very second, the plane is about to land. My brother will (starting in the fall it's June right now) have his neighbors home school me.
30 minutes later
"What is love? Baby don't hurt me! Don't hurt me! No more!" There goes Jason (my older brother) screaming some random song while he fails to open his front door.
