Chapter 7

(Vanessa's POV)

I woke up by the fright of a horrible nightmare I couldn't remember. I stretched and yawned, then stood up from my bed. I looked out the window, I saw the whole village trying to repair houses.

What happened while I was in my lab? It probably must have been Sky.

You're right about that.

Said a voice in my head I didn't recognized.

What?

My question wasn't answered this time.

It must've been that crazy voice in my head who wants me to go insane. (A/N: It's actually real :/ )

I remembered what Seto said, a desert far away. I grabbed my map and saw that the Lanor Desert was the one farther away. I marked with a pencil the spot and the village. I left the map and went outside to help.

When we finished rebuilding the houses I told all the guys to meet me at my lab. We all joined there and I showed them the map.

"We're here in the oak forest and the desert is here. It's approximately 2 days to get there." I said.

"We need to get the book as soon as possible so I suggest we go now." said Jason.

"But who will rule the kingdom in our absence?" Said Quentin.

"Hmm... what about Jordan? He's a great guy." Said Ty

"Yeah, he could be." Said Jerome.

"Then Jordan it is! I'll give him the news later." Said Jason.

"Well, we'll need to pack food, weapons, and tents for everybody." I said.

"I'll bring the food." said Mitch.

"I can bring the weapons." said Jerome.

"I'll bring the tents." said Quentin.

"I can bring some potions if needed." Said Seto.

"I'll bring my map and some special artifacts." I said.

"Okay, bring your stuff and we'll meet at the castle entrance." said Ty.

I went for my map, my shape shifting bracelet, and an orange chainsaw I made for emergencies. I headed back to the castle entrance to wait for the others.

(Jason's POV)

I searched for Jordan in the village. He was visiting us for a month so I found him in an inn. I approached the woman on the counter.

"In what room is Jordan Maron? I'm visiting him."

"In room 427, 4th level."

I went up the stairs and got to Jordan's room. I knocked on the door and he was luckily there.

"Jason! What's up?" He said showing a gentle grin.

"I need you to do me a favor."

"Sure! What is it?"

"I need you to be king for a few days."

His smile turned into a confused frown.

"Why, what happened to Sky?"

"It's a long story just please help me."

He went silent for a while.

"Fine."

"Thanks a lot!" I said and hugged him. "Well, come with me we have some plans."

We joined Vanessa in the castle entrance.

(Quentin's POV)

I searched in my chests for tents.

"Sand, no. Cobble, no. Cactus, no. Flower pot, no. Ugh, where are they?"

I searched in my very last chest.

"Yes, I found you! You thought you could hide from me?"

I went to the castle entrance and found Vanessa, Jason, and Jordan.

(Mitch's POV)

I grabbed the most cakes, bread, meat, and vegetables I could from my chests. Then I went to the bakery and asked for more food. I went with the blacksmith hoping to find Jerome there, and I did. He was holding a bunch of diamond swords and axes. He was asking for 7 sets of iron armor. When he got them he seemed like he was going to fall at any moment.

"Hey there biggums, let me help you."

I took 3 sets of armor and half of the swords and axes. We walked together back to the castle entrance.

(Seto's POV)

I went to my base and grabbed some potions from the shelves.

"Okay, 5 healing potions, 7 strength potions, and 8 fire resistance potions."

I went back to the castle entrance and everybody was waiting for me.

"Great! Now that we have everybody here we need to tell our friend Jordan." Said Jason.

"Oh well," Ty said with a sad look on his face. " Sky has been turned into a murderer by Herobrine. The only chance of getting the cure is in a desert really far away. We won't be able to take care of the kingdom so we need you to be king for some days."

"Oh." he only said.

"Just tell Dan the story and ask him what you need to do." Said Jason.

"Well, I better get going. Good luck on your journey." he ran off leaving us in an awkward silence.

"Uh, this is awkward." muttered Vanessa breaking the silence.

"Okay, now that we have our supplies let's go." Said Ty.

And there our journey had started.
