Chapter 10

(Sky's POV)

Herobrine came again, and I could see he felt uneasy.

"So, are you telling me?" I said.

"Yeah, yeah whatever." he muttered.

"First, why couldn't I kill Jason?" I said.

"The girl was possessed by Notch, probably she's special to him. His power is greater than mine, and he can do whatever he wishes with you." He explained.

"So why did he not killed me then?" I said.

"I don't know, his wisdom is a giant puzzle for everybody." he said.

"And what about the girl, can I kill her?" I said.

"Notch has never interfered with a mortal's dead unless it is too important. He can protect her, but he cannot prevent her dead." he said.

"I'll need to be careful then." I said.

"Very careful, the girl itself is already dangerous. Attack her when she's alone and unprotected, without her weapons she's harmless." he said.

"One last question, what's with that devil?" I asked, trying not to cross the line.

"I'm afraid there's more to the universe than Minecraftia. The devil, he tries to overthrow Notch, and I am one of his minions. But I am destined to only Minecraftia." He said.

"Oh, so he's like your master?" I said.

"Yes." he said and paused, "You'll need to protect your life by yourself now. This information is too dangerous on a mortal's brain, and you can turn back into one if you're not careful. I'm afraid I cannot interfere on this."

"Hmm" I muttered. Then I walked outside and played with Bob and his friends. We were playing find the butter nugget, and I was winning all the time.

(Jason's POV)

"Be careful with the traps." whispered Seto which was showing us the way with a torch.

"What traps?" said Quentin right before he stepped on a pressure plate. The lights flickered and a witch appeared.

"Those traps." muttered Seto with a hint of anger in his voice.

"Great, Quentin. Hello dear human, we come in peace." Said Vanessa.

"Oh, hello." Said the witch with her raspy voice which fit with her appearance perfectly.

"Uh, we're looking for a book, do you know where we can find one?" I asked.

"Sorry but I can't tell you." she said while stifling a laugh.

"What? Why?" I said.

"I need to kill you." She said and grabbed her potions.

She drank a resistance and a swiftness potion while she threw damage potions like grenades.

"Vanessa, can you turn into a witch?" I shouted a bit too loud.

"I can, but I don't know what the side effects might be." she said.

"It's worth a try." I told her and faced Seto. "Seto, do you have any damage potions?"

"I have several." he said while dodging the witch's potions.

"Try to distract her. Now the rest, grab your swords and let's slay this monster." I said confidently.

Then a lot of things happened at the same time. Vanessa turned into a witch, and her clothes changed to a large purple robe. Her hair turned black and her face grew older and uglier but was still recognizable. A crazy smile went through her face, but I could still see her true feeling, fear. Seto took all the potions he could from his backpack and started throwing them to the witch. All of us took our swords, ran to the witch, and tried to hide in the shadows like super awesome ninjas while we swung our swords. It seemed to work perfectly, we weakened her enough that she couldn't move. We did got some scars, but we could still move perfectly.

The hard part was when we convinced Vanessa to turn back to normal. First she refused and tried to kill us with her chainsaw.

Now I know why she was afraid.

Seto tried to contain her but she kept escaping. At last I convinced her by giving her cheese. I don't know why but since she discovered it she fell in love with it. Her clothes, face, and hair turned back to normal.

We kept searching with the dim light, and the place was full of dust and torn up papers.

"Guys, I found some books over her!" shouted Quentin.

We all rushed over. There were like 50 books, and all were covered in dust. I thought the library only had books for spells and stuff, but I was wrong. We found books of cooking, crafting, even of how to read, which was stupid if you ask me. At the last 5 books we found a copy of Seto's book. The last copy in all the library.

"Okay we have the book, now let's get out of here." Said Jerome.

We rushed to the entrance, careful to not touch anything. It seemed like everybody was afraid of the place, not only me.

"Seto, what does the book says?" asked Ian.

"It says we need to craft an amulet, and bring something that remembers Sky of his true self." he said.

"His sunglasses and amulet." I muttered.

"What?" asked Mitch.

"When I saw him, he was missing them." I said.

"Herobrine must have took them." said Ty. "But what about the other amulet?"

"It says we need 1 amethyst ingot, 4 nether quartz, and 4 ender crystals." Said Seto.

"I have amethyst in my lab, but how are we going to get the other stuff?" said Vanessa.

"We'll need to make trips to other dimensions." said Jerome.

"Another adventure." muttered Vanessa.
