Chapter 2

Kayla's POV

Since it's our school's foundation day today, there were no classes, just some programs and open house afterwards, never-ending booths and different kinds of treats all around campus.

During the school's opening program, I didn't see Skye so I immediately looked for her afterwards. I saw her sitting on the stairs, busy tinkering with her phone.

"Hey dude" I greeted and sat beside her

"Hey" she greeted back, her eyes fixated on her phone

I peeked at her phone, "what are you doing?"

"Facebook"

"Ugh, you are such a Facebook addict!" I teased

Skye smiled and playfully raised a brow, "look who's talking, miss all-night-on-Facebook"

"Hey! That's a onetime deal, it won't happen again"

"Uh-huh, of course it won't. suuurree.." she replied with sarcasm

I smiled and lightly slapped her arm. She reacted by pretending to get hurt which of course, made me slap her even more and we both ended up laughing.

In the middle of that, I remembered what she said last night about Tammy

"Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask you, did you and Tammy had a fight?"

To which she replied, "We didn't fought Kayla, we had a misunderstanding"

I sighed and said, "Okay, a misunderstanding" air quoting the word, "about what?"

"Well, it's not a "what" it's a "who"" Skye answered

"Who?! There's a third party?!"

"What?!? No!!"

"Thank goodness, 'cause if I found out that Tammy is cheating, I'm gonna smack the living daylights out of her"

"Nobody's cheating ok? And what made you so sure that Tammy would cheat on me?" Skye asked crossed arms

Because she's a player, that's why!

"W-well it's not like you'll cheat! You're a goody two shoes!"

Had to give Skye some other reasons, and it's not like I'm lying. Skye really was a goody two shoes! She's great like that

"Well for your info, no one is a cheater between us okay?" Skye defended herself and her girlfriend, "And like I said, it's just a misunderstanding, so we just talked It out"

"Yeah but who did you talked about?"

Skye looked at me and sighed. She knew I'm not gonna stop asking about this, "It's about you" she answered

"Me? What did I do?" I was surprised to say the least

"Well, apparently I spend almost all my time with you"

"Uh duh! We go to the same school! what does she expect? If she wants to be with you more then get her to transfer here!"

"Okay, don't get too mad, of course she knows that. What she meant is after classes and during weekends but we talked about it and everything's cool so just relax and breathe"

I huffed in annoyance, "You know that girlfriend of yours is so clingy! Good thing Andrew's not like that with me"

Skye rolled her eyes then stood. She was about to say something when her attention was taken by something she saw, "speaking of Andrew, do you know where he is?" she asked staring out into the campus which was clearly visible from the staircase where we were sitting at
