Chapter 3: Bubbles

“Your little diverge from the path won’t ruin my plans, just delay them! I will have you my sweet Lucia. I will have you and we will be wed as one. You cannot escape me Lucia!” This tosser was starting to get old. All he ever did was rant about taking me but now he wants to marry me! No way! I have enough problems with Lana saying I like Coyren but what would she say if I came home married!?

“No way! I’m never marrying you! And get out of my dreams. You’re so boring that if I wasn’t asleep already you’d sure put me in it!” I smirked at my personal joke.

“Ah Lucia I will always be the man of your dreams and now that you’ve found your true heritage and world it will only be a matter of time! Good bye ma cherie.”

Ugh these dreams have to stop! I awoke to the sound of birds chirping and the glorious smell of bacon frying. Yum!

I got up and it finally registered that I was tiny and had little wings on my back.

I looked around and saw the room I was in for the first time as I was sent straight to bed the night before. Wait! Xavier kissed me! Oh-my-god! Xavier kissed me without my permission! It may have been on my forehead but he still kissed me! How could he? Now what would Lana think! Oh gosh I have to get home.

I had a quick look at the dolls and bottle caps in the room. Lots of the decorations were just things you’d find lying around outside; acorns, plastic bottle caps, seeds, and a large potato that was the same size as me!

I got up and went down stairs where I found a huge Coyren frying bacon and eggs and some other unidentifiable fruit thing. “What’s that?”

“Algerage root. It’s like crunchy and sticks to your teeth all day. Personally I think it tastes gross but he likes it.” Xavier told me and then I eyed the root suspiciously.

“Hey it tastes amazing! It tastes like prawn cocktail crisps!” At Coyrens last note there was no way I was going near that thing!

“Ew prawn cocktail crisps are a crime to humanity.” I shot back

“And you’re not human!” Dam! He so crossed the line there!

“Ugh. Coyren that wasn’t fair on Lu- er Jan!” Hrm maybe I should have people call me by my real name. After all it is my name.

“Call me Lucia from now on.” The boys just gawked at me.

“Oh Jan, it was just a slip up and Lucia isn’t even your true name.” Xavier looked genuinely upset with himself and I started to feel sorry for him.

“I want you to call me Lucia. You’ll have to when we get to the king. I might as well get used to it.”

“Fine but if you change your mind and want to be Jan again I won’t hesitate to call you whatever you want.”

“What about princess?” I asked mockingly as a joke.

“Fine, you have my word. I will call you princess from now on!” he looked so smug since he gave his word and HAS to call me princess from now on. Xavier just laughed.

“Ha! Hey princess, want me to wash your regal toesies?” Xavier was being such a jerk about this.

“Ugh! So not fair guys!” I whined.
