"Hey! Wait up," a voice said as I was on my way to walk out of the school. The day was over, so I finally could go home.

I turned around and came face to face with Ben who was now jogging to catch up with me. I stared at him as I waited for him to speak.

"I got practice tonight, but I thought maybe we could study after at my place? You know, catch up a bit with Spanish?" He asked while smiling at me. That smile must drive girls crazy, and I must say he looked cute.

"Uhm, I'm sorry but I do have plans tonight. Maybe tomorrow after school? At the library or something?" I asked as I thought about what I had to do tonight. Even if I didn't have plans, it would he hard to go out or something. Jarno can't stay home alone that long, or I just don't want him to be alone.

"That's okay, I guess" he said shrugging, shortly glancing around him. I wonder if he did that to make sure no one saw us together.

"Though, plans like boyfriend plans?" He added as he slightly smirked. I shook my head,

"I have to bring my little brother to his basketball practice and I promised to watch him tonight" I answered casually, glancing him swiftly up and down. He was now wearing his basketball gear and it looked quite good on him, honestly.

"Igh, have fun. I guess I will see you tomorrow," he said as he turned around and walked off. I sighed and scratched my head as I glanced at four girls who were eyeing me suspiciously. Bet he slept with three of them.

"Jarno, could you pass me your water bottle?" I asked as I folded his sweatpants and sweater so I could put them in his duffle bag.

"Yeah," he said as he threw me his water bottle. I smiled and placed it in his bag, just like his douchegel and shampoo.

"You almost ready?"

"Yes, I only have to put my shoes on" he answered while walking downstairs. I closed the bag and threw it over my shoulder, checking if I put everything in it. As I was done, I walked down the stairs after him. Our mother has still not come home yet, which I again didn't mind at all.

"Alright, let's go" I said as Jarno had his shoes on. He smiled and opened the door for us. Luckily my mom did not take the car this time, sometimes she does and sometimes she does not. Whenever she does we have to leave early because we have to go by foot. It wasn't a very long walk, but I prefer to go by car.

We stepped in the car and I put the bag in the back seat. "So, you're excited?" I asked Jarno as I started to car.

"Yeah, I love basketball! Someday I want to be a professional basketball player" he said proudly as he stared out of the window. I smiled to myself and paid my attention to the road again.

After 10 minutes or so, we arrived at the building. I unbuckled my seat and grabbed his duffle bag as we stepped out of the car. Jarno already ran up to the entrance, taking big steps like he was a grown man. I chuckled to myself and entered the building after him.

"Here, take your bag. I can't go with you to the lockerroom" I chuckled as I handed the bag over to him. He quickly ran to the lockerroom after waving happily at me.

I went to sit on the stands after I entered the basketball field. Some other guys were balling a bit, I don't think it was really a practice or something. I watched them play for a couple of minutes and noticed one of the guys looked quite familiar. I squinted my eyes a bit to get a better view and recognized him as the guy I met at school today, Damian.

He was laughing with (I suppose) his friends while shooting some balls. I smiled to myself and glanced at my left to see the kids walking in. Jarno waved at me before he turned his attention back to his friends. They were all walking up to Damian and the other guys and started to high five them.
