~Timeskip, that morning~

My (E/C) blinked open slowly and I raised my head from my paws as I uncurled my (S/C) tail from around my body.

A yawn forced it's way from my mouth as I stretched my body out.

I looked around the room to find (B/F/N) was not in asleep in bed as usual, tilting my head to the side slightly in curiosity I lifted myself out of bed and headed out the bedroom door, decending the stairs.

"Morning, sleepy head." I visualy relaxed, relieved to hear (B/F/N)'s voice as my head instinctively snapped into her general direction to see her sitting at the table, eating breakfast.

I walked toward my best friend and sat down next to her, resting my head in her lap.

She giggled and drummed on my head, resulting in an irritated and groggy growl of protest.

She giggled and stopped.

"Wanna-" she was cut off as my head snapped up and I jumped to my paws, my tail sweeping to-and-fro against the wood floor behind me, my (E/C) eyes gleaming with anticipation and excitement as they were locked on (B/F/N)'s own.

Cloudjumper chuckled from his place by the fire behind me, only sounding like a nicker to the humans.

"Wanna go help herd some sheep?" (B/F/N) finished her sentance, a huge smile dancing on her face.

I grumbled and my face contorted into one of unamusement as I turned my back to her with an agitated huff.

"Or do you wanna go flying?" She asked.

I spun around and fidgeted in excitement, the inferno of happiness once again lit and smouldered intensely in my (E/C) eyes.

She smiled and grabbed the saddle, securing it on my body before we both walked outside, well, I pranced.

Once we were outside, she mounted me and I shot off into the sky, beating my wings as I climbed higher and higher into the atmosphere, both of us ignoring the overshadowing of the gloomy storm clouds heading our way from the horizon.

(B/F/N) whooped in euphoria whilst I roared in ecstasy as I soured gracefully through the air.

The wind kissed at my skin as it whistled passed us quickly.

I pumped my wings forcefully but gracefully as I prepared to spiral.

As if reading my mind, (B/F/N) hung on tighter and readied herself.

I roared before I slightly curled my wings and pointed them behind me, letting my body freefall for a few thrilling moments before I positioned them ever so slightly so they would catch the wind.

My body spiraled down, the wind billowing around us at great speeds.

I abruptly opened my wings and glided through the air smoothly.

Hours passed and both of us couldn't care less, until a loud roar of thunder exploded from the heavens and a bolt of lightning struck upon the Earth, causing (B/F/N) to shriek in fear and surpise, clinging to my neck as I roared with unnerve, my pupils narrowed with fear and daunt as they darted above in every direction.

Thor was angry. Very angry.

I dove down, creating some distance between us and the dark clouds as my frantic eyes glanced everywhere in search of an island to take shelter from the thunderstorm, seeing nothing, I flew swiftly and frantically in desperation, determined on getting (B/F/N) somewhere safe before the storm got worse, and trust me, it always got worse.
