" There's always a first time for everything." We all must have heard. From learning to walk for the first time as a toddler to starting your freshmen year in college.
Everything includes a first time.
And from what I've learnt, these first times are certainly very important. Not because we ought to give our best at these times, but because these are the times which makes us realise how brave we really are. Brave enough to start something absolutely new. The thumping heart beats, the over the top anxiety , trembling of lips, all are the signs that despite how much nervous we are, there's a huge part inside us who is ready to face the upcoming challenges. To show our own selves that no matter how much the darkness engulfs us, we'll light up our souls and find a way out of our fears.
Surely, it is not always necessary to succeed in the beginning. Maybe you will fail, get insulted, but instead of taking an action, ask yourself, " do these transient remarks really matter to me?" Yes they do, but only if you lift yourself up, brush off the dirt and come back on the field again.
Afterall, winning is not always the real goal, learning from our mistakes is.So what if you failed? Maybe you'll fail again, but that doesn't mean you'll stop trying. Do what you love, and keep trying until you're sure of yourself. People will let you down, not only once but a million of times, it's upon you how you choose to handle their words. Because at last, the one who really matter are the people with whom you share your food with, and ofcourse, yourself. So start with your first time and try until the day when you'll stare out of the window, telling your story to the little one sitting in front of you with the same eye color and the same smile as yours, lightning up their souls , to help them find a way out of the dark, out of their fears.
