The value of your life is infinite. Yes, you. The one who is reading this right now.Your life is worth the infinite stars in the sky. You're not here to just fill spaces. You matter, and things would've been different without you. Even worse , things would not have even taken place in your absence.
The reason why I'm writing this is because, being a teenager myself, I've seen people who have an obsession with running blades over their beautiful skin. I've seen people self harming. I've seen them going to a different level. I've seen them getting addicted to a virtual happiness, a happiness which is no good. I've seen them kissing goodbye to their own selves and letting the darkness pour into their veins.
And this is to all of them, and the people who are going through the same, to remind them what they're really worth of.
I know you were not like this before. I know that you didn't do it on your own will. Conditions made you so vulnerably blind that you weren't able to see the light. And that's why you ended up coming here. But my friend, this is not the end. I know things go wrong sometimes, and I know how you feel about it. I've gone through the same, I know.
I saw how you cried the other day, hiding inside your closet, wishing for things to be better. I know what you felt after they called you 'overweight' at the dinner table, and yet you said nothing and just stared at your empty plate. I know how your stomach flutters, seeing those pair of blue orbs which never stares back at you. I know it all.
And I wish they knew it too.
That you're beautiful. Every inch, every part of yours is. I wish they knew that inbetween all these stars, there is one which shines the brightest. But yet, it is oblivious to its own shine.
You're oblivious to your own shine.
