Taehyung walked into the restaurant that Jin said they should meet for lunch.
He didn't really know what to expect.
All he really knew was that Jin had something to tell him and that apparently it was quite important.
Either way it was free lunch so why not?
He quickly looked around for Jin and found him already sitting by one of the tables at the window.
He smiled at Jin and walked over to him, sitting down.
"Hello, hyungie."
Jin smiled, claspping his hands together and leaning in slightly. "Hi, Tae."
Taehyung snorted and copied his movements.
"Any reason for us having lunch?"
Jin raised an eyebrow. "What? Can't I spend time with my favorite dongsaeng?"
Taehyung pouted. "Well obviously, but you did say it was urgent,"
"Yes..." Jin trailed off.
"Andddd you wouldn't give me any hints!" Taehyung finished.
Jin shook his head. "True but there's no real rush, so how about we order some food? My treat" He prompted.
Taehyung grinned. "You had me at food"
After they both ordered some spicy chicken wings and folded their menus to give back to their waiter, they sat back in companionable silence until Taehyung couldn't hold back his curiosity.
"So..." Taehyung started.
Jin laughed in response "You're impatient aren't you?"
"Maybe...but you can't blame me!"
Jin hummed and shrugged. "Maybe"
They continued talking while waiting for their food, the conversation mostly consisted of Taehyung trying to get it out of SeokJin and failing.
After 20 minutes their food finally arrived and they immediately started digging in, all banter pushed aside.
They only thing that was heard from them was the occasional moan of delight at the taste of the food.
When they finished, they were both completely stuffed.
Taehyung sat back in his chair and patted his stomach.
"That was delicious!" He chirped happily.
Jin nodded. "I hope you still have some place left for dessert"
Taehyung looked him dead in the eye. "There's always place for dessert"
Jin laughed. "Agreed, so we can stay here or we can go to the Starbucks around here"
Taehyung frowned. "Hmm, well how far is the Starbucks?" He asked.
"Just around the corner." Jin answered.
Taehyung hummed and pursed his lips in thought. "Hmm, I guess some hot chocolate would be good."
"Great, shall we?" Jin prompted, standing up he left the money in the check and placed it back on the table for the waiter.
Jin smiled at Taehyung before heading towards the door, Taehyung following behind him.
"Off to Starbucks!" Taehyung announced once they were out.
Jin snickered and reached for Taehyung's hand and swung it back and forth whilst they walked.
"You still haven't told me yet." Taehyung said for the hundredth time.
"In a minute." Jin said and gently shoved Taehyung inside of the cafe.
"That's what you always say!" Taehyung pouted but allowed Jin to push him and guide him to the counter.
"Uh huh," Jin directed towards Taehyung "Hello, can we get a Hot Chocolate and a Mocha Frappucino?"
The woman behind the counter blinked. "Uh certainly, sizes?"
"Tall for both."
She nodded and asked for their names to write on their cups.
After giving both their names, Jin told Taehyung to go find them a table while he waited for the drinks.
Taehyung did as asked and went over to the empty couch chairs by the window.
When the drinks were finally done, Jin walked to Taehyung, putting their drinks on the coffee table and sat down.
"Thank you, hyung."
"You're welcome, Taetae" Jin replied kindly.
"You're really treating me here." Taehyung noted.
"Well yeah...you deserve it"
Taehyung snorted and shook his head "For what? I didn't do anything"
"Maybe but it's because I'm happy for you" Jin shrugged.
Taehyung raised an eyebrow "How so?..."
Jin sipped his drink. "Well obviously I have good news."
Taehyung nodded excitedly. "Yes??"
"Okay well, you know what I do for a living correct?"
"Uh yes, modeling right?" Taehyung answered.
Jin nodded. "Well, remember they day you decided to take tons of selca's on my phone."
"Haha, yeah"
"Okay so, the photographer at my latest shoot asked if I knew anyone that would be interested in modeling," Jin shrugged his shoulder "and I said you."
"Right...."
Jin chuckled. "So he asked if I had a picture of you and I showed him the selca's and he said he would love to work with you"
Taehyung blinked in surprise. He didn't know what to say, he wasn't expecting this, well he didn't really know what to expect when Jin said to come meet him.
Modeling, huh...he never really thought of doing that. And wasn't there a whole process if someone wanted to become a model?
"Tae?" Jin's voice startled him out of his thoughts.
"Huh?"
"So what d'you think?" Jin asked.
"I don't know, I haven't ever really thought about modeling" Taehyung said honestly.
"Personally, I think you'd be a great model" Jin smiled.
"Yeah?"
"Definitely, you should really think it through."
"I will." Taehyung promised.
"Oh and the best part, you'd be working with me for your debut." Jin smirked.
Taehyung laughed. "How exactly is that a good thing?"
Jin spluttered. "Excuse you, I am beautiful,"
"Obviously." Taehyung rolled his eyes.
"And you're gorgeous, so we'd be a handsome pairing."
Taehyung hummed in agreement. "True."
"Think about it, yeah?" Jin said seriously.
Taehyung nodded. "I will, hyung"
"Okay, shall we go?"
Taehyung nodded and beamed when Jin offered a hand.
