The "Deal"

Chapter 5

After my so called deal with the devil aka Noah I decided to head up to my room and go to sleep it would be a long day on Monday.

I woke and decided I'd actually try to look good today so I threw on some skinny jeans and a cute shirt with my white converse with white matching socks. I rolled the pants up and curled my hair and put a white scarf on and applied some light makeup to my face. I put some earrings in and a necklace on. Grabbing my bag and phone I hop down the stairs in a jolly mood, grabbed an apple and OJ and headed to my car.

I sit in the car the music blaring as usual as I head to school making sure not to go over the speed limit. Hey call me a party pooper but I'll be the one saying I told you so outside your jail cell.

I park in the same place I do everyday the back so no one can mess with my car or me. I lock my door and walk to the front doors and walk in. I head to my locker and notice my so called new friends by my locker I wouldn't really call them friends.

I walk to my locker clenching my books in my hands.

"Excuse me." I mumble trying to get past them.

"Yo Amelia wait up." I turn to see Jay and Colton walking up too me.

Colton put his arm around me twirling a piece of my hair in his hand. I look at his hand with a confused look.

"Okay so ur are new bestie now ight? Okay." I look up at Colton and Jay an pick Colton's arm up as if he had a disease and put it to his side.

"Thanks but no thanks I have enough friends."

"Yea 2 that you met yesterday." They laugh.

"No seriously ur pretty cool." Jay looks at me.

"More like Kailyn and Brianna are cool thanks but no thanks." I say and walk away annoyed that they only wanted to be my friend for Bri and Kailyn.

I head into my first period class, health. I take a seat in my regular spot the back away from everyone. Usually it's the opposite ya know? the bad kids sit in the back and the nerds sit in the front but for some odd reason it's the opposite with my school.

About 5 minutes after the tardy bell my teacher walked in stumbling and dimmed the lights guess someone had a rough weekend.

"Okay class I am hung over from 2 nights ago take a nap and if any of you little snitches in here tell the principle I'll give you an F for the rest of the year."

Well then someone's a bit cranky ah well most people didn't complain most just grabbed there phones and started gossiping and texting about how there first period teacher is drunk on a Monday. There goes there A to an F.

I grab Noah's homework he gave me this weekend in exchange for our little deal and completed the last little bit I didn't do over the weekend.

After I completed it I ask to use the bathroom to meet Noah in the spot by the bathroom and the vending machine to give him his work. As he quotes he's too hot to be seen with someone like me. I grab my stuff sense it was almost time for the bell to ring.

I see him leaning against the wall arms crossed and a smirk plastered on his face.

"Well well didn't think you were gonna show."

"Wouldn't want poor little Noah to fail would we." How am I so confident around him? Maybe I don't need this deal after all. Shit who am I kidding.

"I mean according to our arrangement I didn't have a choice did I?" I asked crossing my arms shifting all my weight to one foot. He's so annoying

"Yikes who twisted your panties in a knot."

I roll my eyes and hand him his homework, and turn to leave.

"Woah woah where do you think ur going little miss priss I don't think so, you have more." He said holding his homework he got today.

I turn around biting the inside of my cheek to keep from going off and snatch the piece of paper outta his worthless hands.

I turn on my heels and head off  back to class the bell should be ringing soon.

Lunch it's such a simple word nothing more to it except a bit of freedom for 30 min.

I head outside to the bench where I meet Kailyn and Bri. They are already out there nibbling on there cheese sticks the lunch room provides.

"How can you guys eat those?" I ask looking at them both in disgust

"Common Amelia don't knock it till you try it." I stare at Bri like she doesn't remember

"I have, remember? I about threw up, had to wash my mouth out about 50 times before I got the dang taste outta my mouth I still have nightmares." I exaggerate the bad memory.

"Your such a drama queen Amelia it's not that bad here." Kailyn said waving her cheese stick in front of my face while I am over here gagging.

"Gross get that outta my face." They just continued to laugh as I shake my head in disapproval I don't know how some people eat that crap. I mean don't get me wrong some of the schools lunch is pretty good but this no this was just a piece of cardboard with cheese in the middle that tasted 500 years old, no thank you.

Lunch ended rather quickly so I headed to my P.E. class. Not to brag but I am the bomb in that class like everyone just sits there while I go after the ball common people get up this isn't Science class.

I walk in and change my clothes an step into the gym and do my 3 min jog.

We play two games either kick ball or Wuffle ball. Today was kick ball day I mean they can't let us play other games I mean common I don't even have to think to play them there already made up.
Anyways i was up to kick and the girl who was rolling the ball was rolling like 3 feet beside me how the heck am I supposed to kick that with my super powers?

When she finally got me a good roll I kicked it with all my might and ran about 3/4 of the way to see if it was caught when it hit Noah straight in the face when he came trotting threw the double doors.
