"Finally," Katerina said as she had finally finished cleaning up the mess from today. Her students had a crazy lab today including chemicals and a bunch of explosions happened. Unfortunately she knew that she would have to clean up what the kids had left behind since the janitor is a piece of crap. He only cleans one thing the cafeteria because people have complained, mostly parents and the teachers.Katerina goes to her desk and gathers her bags. She has a ton of bags but usually only has one. But today wasn't like any other day. It was special, somewhat. She quickly grabbed her bags and made her way out of the room, closing the door behind her. Katernia walks down to the main entrance and out the doors. It's currently 7pm and no one's at the school, except her. Pretty pathetic.
Getting to the car she opens the trunk and starts placing her stuff in the trunk. A few moments later a man touches her shoulder. She jumps and turns quickly. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you," the man said.
"Oh no, you're fine," Katerina pauses and scratches the top of her head. "Um... can I help you with anything?" She takes caution. Staying a certain distance. The guy looks around. He's in his mid thirties, deep dark brown chocolate eyes, a creepy smile, and spiky hair.
"Uh yeah. Can you tell me where the closest Home Depot is?" The middle aged man asked. Katerina nodded her head yes.
"Uh yeah. If you go down that way and then turn down Triffle lane and just follow that street you'll see the big Home Depot sign. It's hard to miss," Katerina responds. He nods.
"Thank you so much. Nice to meet you, Katerina." Katerina nods and the man walks off. Katerina stands there for a minute thinking, I never gave him my name. She only shook it off though. He possibly seen her name tag or, or something else.
But Katerina continues on with her business. Lastly she finishes and slams the trunk down. She grabs her purse and goes up to the drivers side. She unlocks the door and opens it. Katerina tosses her purse over to the passenger seat and then gets in the car. She shuts her door and grabs her phone out of her back pocket. Checking through her messages she hears noise. Screech. She flinches at the noise and closes her eyes.
A moment later she doesn't hear it no more and she opens her eyes. As she does she jumps as there's a knock on her window. Katerina turns and sees a different man. A much younger one. This one is at least in his early to mid twenties, he has green eyes, and short medium hair length. That's been slicked back, like I real gentlemen. She unrolls her window down.
"Hi, can I get your help real quickly?" The boy asked. Katerina nods her head yes. "Have you seen this person?" The boy holds up a picture. Katerina's eyes widen and she nods her head yes. "You have? When?"
"Just a few minutes-" She gets cut off by a hand covering her mouth.
"You say one word, I rip your damn head off," A man from behind her says. She stays frozen, her eyes wide. Her eyes drift over to the door to see the youngling opening the door. "You got her?" The boy nods and the man in the back lets go. The youngling grabs Katerina and pulls her out of the car. Once out of the car she pushes the youngling and he hits his back on a black van that Katerina had realized was just there. But she doesn't care, she takes off running quickly.
Running as fast as she could she made it to the woods nearby and hid behind a hug tree with some bushes. She sat down and brought her legs up to her chest. Hugging them tightly she heard twigs and leaves breaking, then the noise stops. "You dumbass. I thought you had her," the deepest male voice said.
"Well I'm sorry. She may be short but she's strong," The youngling's voice says.
"But you're a man Jeremy. Time to act like one and be stronger than a female or you ain't going to get anywhere in this world." Jeremy sighs. "Go that way. And when you find her make sure you out power her." Soon the two take off running. Crack. Snap. Crack, went the twigs and leaves. Katerina stayed still, scared half to death.
It's been several minutes and Katerina decides to look out from behind the tree and bushes. She looks around and doesn't see anyone. She stands up and takes off running back towards her car. Doing so she feels something heavy tackle her to the ground. She moans in pain, as her head hits the floor. The person stands up pulling her along. They put their hand over Katerina's mouth and start dragging her over to the van.
The man gets her inside and sets her down. He's about to get up but stops and stares at Katerina. "Don't even try anything. You already got me in trouble once. And right now, I wouldn't think at all about trying to escape. It'll only make it way worse on you," Jeremy says. Katerina stays still, watching Jeremy as he goes up the drivers seat and the back doors open. Katerina's head flies to the right seeing the older male. It looks nothing like that first guy she had talked to.
Het gets in and goes to a red tool box. He pulls out rope and tape. Katerina starts shaking her head no quickly. "Please no. You don't have to do that," Katerina begged but the man grabbed her pushed her down. As she lay on her stomach by force the man tied her hands to each other behind her back. Tightly. Probably as tight to make rope burns. Once the man finishes he goes down to her feet and ankles. He grabs more rope and ties her ankles together, tight like her wrists. The man lifts Katerina up and sets Katerina up against the wall of the van. The man looks at Katerina and smiles. He places his hands on each one of her cheeks. Examining her. Checking her out.
"We've always chose a great person. But this one. Oh boy this one is amazingly perfect," the man says. Katerina feels tears slide down her cheeks from her eyes. The man wipes the tears away. "Don't cry my dear. It'll only show how weak you are." Katerina, not wanting to be called weak spits in the man's face. He drops his hands from her face and wipes his face off with his left hand. When he drops his hand he chuckles at Katerina. Then suddenly grabs her neck tightly slamming her up against the van wall. He gets up in her face.
"I'd watch what you do, or your life will be a living, breathing hell," he says through grinning teeth. He lets go and Katerina coughs hard. The man stands up and goes back to the red box as Katerina coughs hard, not being able to really breathe for a few seconds. The man comes back over with a cloth in his hands. The elder gets down on his knees and places the cloth over Katerina's mouth and nose, making sure to firmly hold it there. Katerina struggles immensely. Not wanting to fall asleep from the funny smelling substance, but it was too late. She had breathed in the substance and couldn't bare it. The man drops the cloth. Katerina's eyes close. The man lays her body down and takes the roll of duct tape, tears a piece off and places it on Katerina's mouth. He gets up and goes out the side door. He slams it shut and goes up to the passenger side door. He gets in and meets Jeremy's eyes.
"David, did you hurt her?" Jeremy questions. David only looks away and stuffs his mouth full of tobacco.
"Drive Jeremy. Just drive," David says stuffing more into his mouth. Jeremy starts the van and takes off driving.
