"No Gizmo, slow down." Y/N snapped at her yellow lab puppy. It's been six months since she's gotten Gizmo, and ever since he'd loved being outside and the small porch of her apartment wasn't enough for the dog. So the park down the street was the best option. But today something had him ready to jump on every leaf, squirrel, or person to pass by.
"Gizmo sit. Heal boy." Y/N tried three more time to get him to sit or at least slow down but nothing seemed to be able to stop the dog from dragging her along.
It was too late when she noticed they were headed towards a man and his own yellow lab. Gizmo pulled harder on and the leash and it slipped from Y/N's hand while he kept on running. Y/N thought he was going to go and 'introduce himself' to the other dog but no, Gizmo just had to go for the man's legs taking him down.
"Oh my gosh. I am so sorry." She proclaimed when she reached the puppy and his new friend. Grabbing Gizmo's leash and pulling him away from the man.
"I am so sorry my dog took you down. He's usually not like this." She rattled again, helping the man up while Gizmo and the strangers dog sniffed around each other.
"It's no problem. If I get taken out by a ball of fluff, then that's how I go." Y/N and the man chuckled. She noticed that it lit up his hazel eyes and showed his dimples.
"I'm Sam." He stuck out his hand, waiting for her to introduce herself.
"Y/N." She told him, taking his hand. "And the one that tackled you is Gizmo."
She looked between the puppies and Sam. Honestly she would love to get to know him better, it's not every day your dog plows down a handsome stranger; but Y/N didn't want to seem desperate.
"It was nice to meet you Sam. And I'm sorry again." She turned to grab Gizmo's leash and walk away, but before she could walk away Sam spoke up.
"Wait. Um... maybe tomorrow we can meet up again." He scratched the back of his neck trying to find the right words. "You know, to make up for your dog taking me down."
Y/N laughed and nodded, Sam smiled; thinking that it wasn't every day you get plowed down by a beautiful stranger's dog.
"I'll meet you here tomorrow, ten o-clock. I've got to go." Y/N took the leash and started walking back to her apartment, a smile on her face the entire time.

"Damn Sammy, what took you so long?" Dean, Sam's older brother asked when he walked through the door of their apartment. Sam looked at the clock a little stunned: 9:35; usually he was back from his jog before 8:45.
"Sorry man, just lost track of time." Sam lied, watching as Daisy curled up on the couch. His mind though couldn't stop thinking back to Y/N.
"Sammy I know that look. There's a chick isn't there?"
Sam groaned at his brother's pestering. It was like that, every time Sam even talked to a girl. Dean would always poke and prod at him until he spilled every detail just to shut Dean up.
"I'm not starting this Dean. Just let it go."
"There is a chick then." Dean exclaimed triumphantly.
"I'm going to shower." Sam grumbled, walking to the bathroom to get away from his brother.

The next morning Y/N woke up at the ass crack of dawn after an almost sleepless night, the reason she had suffered through that was the same reason she had to get up in the morning. If she wasn't going to meet Sam again she'd probably stay in with her roommate and binge watch Netflix.
"So how do you know he's not a serial killer?" Charlie asked watching Y/N rummage through her closet.
"I don't, but he doesn't seem like a serial killer." She picked up a red flannel before putting it back. "But I'll call you if I get any serial killer vibes."
Charlie rolled her eyes at Y/N, but didn't say anything. It's been years since Y/N had actually met a man she liked, and Charlie wasn't going to pester her about it. So after Y/N finally settled on a simple tank, a light jacket, and jeans; she grabbed Gizmo's leash, yelled a good bye to Charlie and walked out the door.

When Sam arrived at the park, he realized he should have gotten Y/N's phone number; because without it he was left to search for the beautiful girl with the e/c eyes. But he didn't have to look long because Daisy, his yellow lab, spotted her first and when she did Sam tried his best to keep ahold of her leash.
"Daisy! Stop." Sam barked, but it was too late, Gizmo had already seen Daisy and soon both dogs were running full speed towards each other. Though before they could collide Daisy and Gizmo stopped inches from each other.
"Hey Sam." Y/N breathed out, a sight blush creeping its way up her cheeks.
"Hi Y/N." He responded, but their small exchange wasn't enough for fate because it was immediately after the words left Sam's mouth Gizmo went to sniff at Daisy, pulling Y/N into Sam's chest. The two stood there for a second before Sam spoke again.
"Do you wanna go get breakfast, I know this little café that allows pets on the patio."
"I would love that." Y/N replied, feeling herself fall for the man with the deep hazel eyes.
