"And so there I was, you know? Walking down the stairs when they call me into the living room," The girl nods absentmindedly while I blabber off to her. She's such a nice person.
"And then they tell me straight up that I'm adopted, couldn't they have waited until after my birthday? Why ruin such an awesome day for me? They're such bad parents. Oh wait, they aren't my real parents because I'm adopted!" I burst into tears on the girls' shoulder but she pushes me off muttering about how much she hates drunk people.
"I need air," I push through the many people at my party and go out to the front yard.
I take a deep breath as soon as I'm free from the suffocating crowd. Walking down the sidewalk I think about what I'm going to tell my fake parents when I get home. Or what used to be home. I notice that I can no longer hear the loud music and I turn to take a look behind me. I must've really been in the clouds to not have noticed that I walked a little far from the house.
I hear a vehicle close to me stopping and going as I do and my reflexes immediately snap in waiting for a fight. I finally kneel down like I'm fixing my heel and wait for the person to come up behind me and sure enough I hear the door to the vehicle close quietly.
This person really does suck at being quiet. Right before he could grab me I jump up and punch him in the stomach. He falls over and I uppercut him but before he can stand up fully I push him back the same time that I trip him. Another guy comes up behind me and I flip him over me already feeling the effects of drinking. I feel woozy for a second until the second guy gets up and I tackle him to the ground before he could throw a punch at me.
"I thought you said you slipped it into her drink!" One of the guys yell out trying to pin me down to the ground.
"I did! She must have a fast metabolism or something I don't know."
The guy who isn't trying to pin me down runs towards us but I kick him in the balls before he could grab hold of my legs. He screams out in agony and I remember that I'm still wearing the heels. I jerk the guy off of me and kick him in the head when he goes to stand up. I stand next to both of them on the floor and laugh at their pain. I laugh so hard that I don't notice the guy come up behind me with the needle heading for my neck. I feel the tiny prick in my skin and immediately feel whatever it is he injected me with. They drag me to their van and set me in the back after they tie me up. I look down and notice one of my shoes are missing.
"Thank God you came, that little sucker was a soldier. Did you see how tall those heels were? She fought us in those elevator death traps!"
"Boss is going to be pissed when he finds out she handed our asses to us on a silver platter," I can't think as clearly anymore and the stars are slowly popping up.
"Yeah well she better be woozy enough so that he could fight her again," What? They want me to fight their boss? Who's their boss?
"Yeah he already lost to her once he wants to make sure she never wins against him again."
And that's when I slip into the darkness.

Troy POV
"Brad have you seen Selena?" Another shake of the head saying they haven't seen her.
I finally find the girl I sat her with and she said the last time she seen her she walked outside for fresh air. I walk to the front and yell out her name but I don't get a response. I walk down the sidewalk hoping to catch her sitting on a curb or something. Anything.
I walk for a while when I come across a black heel and her phone and think the worst. I pull out my phone and call 9-1-1. They immediately pick up and I tell them what happened. Not even two minutes later two cop cars pull up next to me. The male officer approaches me first asking what happened and I tell him all that had happened starting from when she came to the party a mess. They asked if I contacted her parents and I suddenly remember that I hadn't even thought to call her parents yet.
