Anthony finished reading his book. Letting out a sigh aw he closes it up. Chara looks up from her's with a somewhat surprised expression. He pulls out his phone, turns it on then off.

"I should be getting home." He puts the book back and then swigs his backpack over his shoulder.
"See you guys later." He leaves.

"Bye" They both say.

Chara lays down on the couch and places the open book on the floor. She looks over at Frisk who was still focusing on her's. The two heard a vibration which made them both look at the coffee table.

"Chara could you get that please." Frisk asks

The demon picks up the human's cellphone and walks into the kitchen, so she didn't disturb her.

She answers it "Hello?"

"Hello my child, I'll be here a little longer. You two don't mind finding something yourselves for dinner." Toriel's kind voice spoke through the speaker.

"No, that's not an issue."

"Thank you, I'll be home as soon as I can." She hangs up.

Chara places the cellphone on the kitchen table. She opens up the one of cabinets and pulls out pasta noodles and olive oil. She goes to the spice rack and gets black pepper, basil, and kosher salt. She also grabs cherry tomatoes, garlic, and parmesan. Grabbing a pot and a skillet,  she fills the pot with water and places it on the stove, and turns the heat on.  She puts the skillet on the cooker as well, setting the heat to a medium-high.

"Please have extra vinegar." She pick up the olive oil bottle. "Yes"

"Chara!" Frisk calls to the demon.

Chara walks out of the kitchen and into the living room. "Yeah"

"Who was it?"

"Mom"

"What she say?"

"That she'd be out a bit longer and for us to find something for dinner ourselves."

"Oh"

"You hungry?"

"Yeah, I'll find something in a little bit tho."

"Well okay then." She walks back into the kitchen not bothering to say she was cooking.

Chara sighs and  pours 2 1/2 tablespoons of oil into the pan. The demon lets it sit out a few then adds the tomatoes. Five minutes, then boom the tomatoes burst. She jumps getting scared a little. Chara seasons it with the black pepper and salt before adding the garlic. Looking over at the pot seeing the water at a boil, she adds the pasta and stirs it a bit. Turning down the heat on the pasta to a medium-low.

She grabs a wooden spoon and twirls it in her hand to pass the time. The pasta was soon done and Chara adds the basil to the sauces and mixes it in. She turns the heat off on both the pasta and sauce. The demon gets out glass plates and forks for Frisk and herself.  She drains the pasta and puts some on each plate, also pouring the sauce on both pastas as well and sprinkles a little parmesan. She finishes by placing the forks on the plate.

Chara peers around the corner, looking into the living room. "Frisky." She calls

"Hmm" she looks up from the book, her cheeks a little red.
