51) I'll Be There

(Kevin pov)
I'm in gym with my brothers, Stone & Macy when I got a call from Dani so I quickly answered it.

(Phone Conversation)
"Hey, Dani. How are you?" I said.

"I'm great, There's something I wanna tell you, it's important." Dani said.

"What's up?" I asked as I went somewhere private.

"Alena is now 2 years old and we need to go buy her stuff so she can be prepared for preschool." Dani told me as I understood what she's saying even though I'm hurting inside.

"You're right, where are you now?" I asked.

"I'm at my house getting Alena ready to go." Dani told me.

"Okay. I'll be there at 6:03." I told her.

"Okay, I've left you the key to the house under the welcome mat." Dani said.

"Thanks, I love you, bye." I said.

"Love you too, bye." Dani says as she hang up.
(Phone Conversation End)

After talking to Dani, I walked back towards the others.

"Hey, Kev. What sup?" Macy said.

"Um. Dani & I are spending the whole school year together at home since our daughter Alena is going to start preschool." I told them.

"Oh. That's great news!" Joe said happily giving me a hug then pulled away.

Joe, Nick, & Macy noticed something was bothering me.

"Yea, That is great news!" I said agreeing with sadness.

"Dude, you okay?" Stone asked feeling worried.

"No, It's just that my lil baby girl is going to preschool. And I'm not ready to let her go." I confessed.

"Don't worry, Kev. I mean, You'll see her again after school." Joe said.

"Joe's right, You'll be able to have alot father-daughter time before she goes to pre-school. And if you want something to remind you of her, you can look at the pictures." Stone told me.

"Or you could maybe visit her during preschool whenever you like." Macy suggested.

"Or maybe you could listen to a song that'll remind you of her." Nick said.

"Really, Nick?" I said looking at him shocked.

"Yea. I mean, if you listen to a song that's a reminder of Alena, then you'll be able to stop worrying." Nick said.

"Thanks for the suggestions, I'm pretty sure it'll help me out." I told them.

"Your welcome, Kevin." Macy said smiling.

P.E. was officially over & we had to go to our next class, so I took that as a chance to go home.

As I took a chance to go home, I told Macy, my brothers & the others that I'm gonna stay home for the rest of the day.

And I also told them to tell our teachers that I won't be in any of our classes cause I have a family emergency I needa deal with.
